After a 6-year-long fairy tale love journey of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, they stepped on to their ‘happily ever after’ phase on November 14-15, 2018. Deepika and Ranveer’s pre-wedding ceremonies and marriage in Italy might have been a private one, but that doesn’t mean that the newlyweds won’t celebrate the special occasion amidst their folks. On November 20, 2018, the newly-wedded couple Deepika and Ranveer went on a photo-posting spree on their social media handles, and we can’t stop awing the love and warmth evident in those pictures! With the tight-security on their 3-day Italy wedding and no-phone rule implementation, Deepika and Ranveer wanted to selectively share their wedding pictures. Karan Johar left a comment on their post that resonates the most with us. He wrote, “Uff I want to get married!!!!”.
Just when we were sinking in with the excitement and happiness of DeepVeer’s wedding pictures, came the day when Deepika and Ranveer will host their ‘first’ wedding reception. An extra emphasis on ‘first’ because Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will host not one, but three wedding receptions in India. Yes, the newly-married couple will host one reception on November 21, 2018, in Bengaluru and the other two on November 28, 2018, and December 1, 2018, in Mumbai.
Ranveer Singh’s parents, Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani reached Bengaluru at their bahu’s residence on November 20, 2018 night. Deepika’s home in Bengaluru has been lit up and gorgeously decorated for the occasion. Deepika and Ranveer’s reception will take place at Leela Palace Hotel and a lot of important members of the sports fraternity are expected to be present there.
Deepika and Ranveer were snapped in their car at the former’s residence as they leave for the reception venue. When Deepika and Ranveer reached former’s residence on November 20, 2018, they came out in the balcony to greet their fans. Deepika and Ranveer along with her parents, Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone and sister, Anisha Padukone were all smiles for their fans and media. As per a Peeping Moon report, Deepika’s sister-in-law and Ranveer’s sister, Ritika Bhavnani will be hosting a private affair for her bhaiya and bhabhi on November 24, 2018, at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. Ritika has sent out special invitations to ‘Raise a Toast and Celebrate Ranveer and Deepika,’ four days ago.
The Mumbai reception will be hosted by the #LadkeWale on November 28, 2018, and finally, Deepika and Ranveer will host a reception bash for their friends from the film fraternity. Post this, the couple will leave for their short honeymoon.
Deepika and Ranveer left for Bengaluru on November 20, 2018, and they posed and smiled for the cameras at the Mumbai airport. Amongst many videos and pictures from the airport, one video that went viral on social media and made everyone smile and adore the couple, even more, was from inside the airport. Ranveer and Deepika are a perfect example of the phrase ‘opposites attract’ and the proof is the video.
In the video, Deepika can be seen taking the stairs, while her husband Ranveer chose to take the escalators right next to her. Deepika’s eyes were fixed on him as he nonchalantly leaned over the railing. A few comments on this post could be read as, “They are best example of opposite attracts. Retweeting Ranveer’s post on Twitter, Raveena Tandon shared an incident when Deepika told her about Ranveer. Raveena congratulated the couple and recalled, “Touchwood! Soo happy! letting you in a secret @RanveerOfficial, on a long chatty flight with @deepikapadukone a couple of years ago, she said “Ranveer makes me feel I’m home “ I’ll never forget those words, and truly she looks like she’s Home.
