Vikrant Massey and his wife, Sheetal Thakur are on cloud nine as they are soon going to hop onto the parenthood journey. For those who don't know, Vikrant and Sheetal tied the knot on February 19, 2022. After more than one and a half years of their marital bliss, the duo announced the 'good news' to their fans on September 24, 2023. And now, the papa-to-be talked about hoping onto the parenthood journey and revealed what is his top-most priority right now.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the soon-to-be-dad, Vikrant Massey was asked about embracing fatherhood for the first time in his life and if he has been doing any sort of planning for the same. To this, the actor mentioned that planning often happens, but as plans don't often work out, he is not planning that much. The actor also mentioned that his immediate priority is to ensure that his wife, Sheetal, and his baby are keeping fine with their health. Vikrant said:
"Planning and all happens but you know all the planning goes out of the window, so we don’t plan that much. The immediate priority is to make sure that both the mother and baby are healthy and fine and we’ll see as time as in when the time arrives."

Further, in the interview, Vikrant mentioned that the one thing that he has been looking into is time management. He also added that he has gotten a very strong family support system. Vikrant also added that he really hopes that everything will go smoothly. Vikrant can be quoted as saying:
"But yeah I definitely do think time management is going to be something that I really really have to look into but I think I’ve been very lucky with a very strong family support system. Even when I will take my time off from work and spend time with I think everything should go smoothly. Let’s see.“
Earlier, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Vikrant Massey talked about Sheetal being pregnant. The actor mentioned that he felt mixed emotions, including nervousness and excitement, and he fell short of words when he was asked about the same. Vikrant also shared he felt overwhelmed when he came to know about him being a father for the first time.
It was soon after their pregnancy announcement when Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur sent everyone into a collective meltdown with an oh-so-sweet photo of them as they headed out for a brunch. In the picture, the duo could be seen sharing an adorable moment. Dressed in a cream-hued printed breezy outfit, the mom-to-be, Sheetal looked gorgeous. On the other hand, Vikrant looked dapper in a white-hued shirt as he gave a sweet peck on his wife's head.

After much speculation, it was on September 24, 2023, when Vikrant and Sheetal announced the 'good news' to their fans in the cutest way possible. The soon-to-be parents shared a beautiful picture that featured a collage of one of their wedding photos, with which they attached a photo of safety pins that symbolised their pregnancy. On the picture, it was written, "We are expecting! BABY COMING 2024." Sharing the photo, Vikrant and Sheetal wrote:
"New beginnings."
