As a K-drama enthusiast, one always hopes that the on-screen chemistry between the lead couple will translate into a beautiful real-life romance. However, only a few couples have taken their reel-life love to the next level and declared to the world that they have fallen head-over-heels in love with one another. Among them, the top couple is Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.
In 2021, the lead couple of the popular Korean drama, Crash Landing On You (CLOY), 'Ri Jeong Hyeok' (played by Hyun Bin) and 'Yoon Se Ri' (played by Son Ye Jin), announced their romantic relationship after dating for a few years. Although they had previously worked together on the 2018 film, The Negotiation, they reportedly fell in love during the filming of CLOY. In March 2022, the couple tied the knot in a fairytale-like wedding ceremony, leaving their fans in awe and happy for them.

Recently, we stumbled upon a video featuring the Bin-Jin couple. The two were allegedly spotted in an airport in Los Angeles. What caught everyone’s attention was how spontaneously Hyun Bin pulled his beloved wife, Ye Jin, towards himself when he saw a bus approaching in their direction.
As soon as the video went viral, fans pointed out the similarity in the actions of CLOY’s ‘Ri Jeong Hyeok’ and Hyun Bin. The latter’s action has been compared to a scene from their K-drama, Crash Landing On You, in which the character ‘Ri Jeong Hyeok’ protects ‘Yoon Se Ri’ from a crowd that passes by them. The show's fan page shared a video comparing the scene from the drama to the real-life incident. The video is split in half to show the similarities.

For the unversed, CLOY’s plot revolves around a South Korean heiress, ‘Yoon Se Ri’ and a North Korean military man, ‘Ri Jeong Hyeok’. As the heiress mistakenly lands in North Korea and is later rescued by the captain, the duo falls in love despite knowing they will never be able to live together.
Netizens could not stop gushing over this protective gesture of Hyun Bin. Someone commented, ‘He's taking care of her, how cute’. Others followed the cue by showering praises on the gentlemanly behaviour of Hyun Bin. Check out some other comments:
