As per a Page Six report, the Captain America star, Chris Evans, got married to his girlfriend, Alba Baptists. The stars said ‘I do’ on September 9, 2023, in an intimate ceremony that took place in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The 42-year-old actor’s MCU colleagues like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner were in attendance at their dear friend’s wedding.
Chris Evans and Alba Baptista made sure their wedding ceremony happened away from all the attention from the media. They made their guests sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), and even their cell phones were forfeited. The same Page Six reports mentioned that only the couple’s closest family members and friends attended the ceremony.

You may recognise her from her role in the popular Netflix series, Warrior Nun, or from her appearance in the film, Mrs Harris Goes to Paris. Alba has also received numerous awards for her exceptional acting skills.
In an interview with People, Chris Evans had expressed his desire to get married and have a family last November. He said:
“That’s absolutely something I want — wife, kids, building a family. When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them it wasn’t the work they made, it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
In the same interview, Chris also mentioned that he loves the idea of tradition and ceremony. He said:
“So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony, I had a lot of that in my life so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.”
While Alba Baptista has always been a little secretive and private about her relationship with Chris Evans, the latter was very vocal and frequently shared photos of the two of them picking apples, skiing, viewing the Northern Lights together, and even kissing in the car.
