Charu Asopa is one such television actress who has been hemming all the headlines for her personal life than her professional work. The actress, who has been a part of serials like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Mere Agne Mein, Jiji Maa among others had garnered a lot of buzz about her divorce from her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. However, after much accusations against one another, the duo was finally granted divorce on June 8, 2023 and they have opted to co-parent their daughter, Ziana. And now, as Charu Asopa has resumed work once again, she opened up about some unheard anecdotes about her life.
After a long hiatus from work, Charu Asopa has bagged a new television show and has resumed going back to work. But while things have smoothened out a bit for her professionally, it seems she has to deal with a new and unprecedented change in her personal life. Well, since Charu has been single-handedly raising her daughter, Ziana at the moment, it has thus been very difficult for her to leave her two-year-old baby girl back home and come to shoot. Speaking about the same in her recent YouTube vlog, Charu broke down as she spoke about her anxiety on it. She mentioned:
“I am going for the first day of my shoot. I am excited and nervous. It was different earlier. I used to be very happy, but now it’s a mixed feeling as I have to leave Ziana behind. She was sleeping when I left. More than her, I wonder how I would stay away from her. When I go away from her, I keep thinking about her, watching her videos and looking at her pictures. I am so much into her that being away from her is difficult.”

In the same video, Charu also spoke about the kind of support she has asked from her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen to provide for their daughter, Ziana. She mentioned that she has requested him to be there with Ziana until she herself settles into her new work environment. Moreover, Charu also revealed her plans of bringing along her daughter to the shooting place here onwards. In her words:
“I have requested Rajeev to be with Ziana today because I don’t know about the arrangements there. From tomorrow, I will take her along.”
In an earlier interview with ETimes, Charu Asopa had opened up on facing a lot of struggles in finding a decent housing for herself and her daughter, Ziana in a city like Mumbai. She highlighted that a major chunk of house owners have aversion to let out their properties to an actress, and in her case, she was a single mother as well. She also spoke about some moments when despite everything getting finalised, she was refused accommodation at the last moment.

After a lot of nasty public fights, allegations and media trials, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen were finally granted divorce on June 8, 2023. Their fans got to know about the same when the latter had dropped an old picture of themselves and had penned that there are no goodbyes in their relationship. Rajeev had also mentioned that they will always continue to shoulder their responsibilities as parents towards their daughter, Ziana.
