Within just two days, the film went on to make business of over Rs. 230 crores. On December 2, 2023, Bobby Deol was seen getting emotional at the success party of the film. For the unversed, Bobby Deol was out of four years, and he gave up on himself and started drinking.
A video of Bobby Deol has been going viral on the internet, wherein he was seen exiting from the success party of his superhit film. In the clip, he was seen crying while hugging a person. Later, he tried to calm himself, but could not do it while sitting in the car. The actor also addressed paps and thanked them for all the support. He was quoted as saying:
"Thank you so much. God has been really kind. Itna pyaar mil raha hai iss film ke liye lagta hai ki sapna dekh raha hu."

Bobby Deol won hearts with his 'sweet boy' looks in the '90s. On Koffee With Karan 8, Bobby Deol revealed that he was out of work for four years (2013 to 2017). He added that he started pitying himself, and kept cursing himself. He was quoted as saying:
"I gave up, I started pitying myself. I just took on drinking a lot, I was sitting at home. I used to keep cursing and saying, why don’t people take me? I am good, why don’t they want to work with me? I think I became so negative about everything, that there was no positivity coming from me. I used to sit at home, my wife worked."
