Bobby Deol has been grabbing all the limelight since he made his outstanding comeback with the movie, Animal. The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer movie has been doing extremely well at the box office. However, it was Bobby's role as a mute antagonist, 'Abrar Haque' in the movie that left people to call him 'Lord Bobby' after the movie was released. Moreover, it was his entry with the song, Jamaal Jamaaloo, that made everyone obsessed with the scene. Although at the end of the movie, Bobby and Ranbir's respective characters had a top-notch fight sequence, the duo in real life shared a very good time while shooting for the movie. And recently, Bobby opened up about the same.

Bobby Deol says Ranbir Kapoor revealed his proposal story to him

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Bobby Deol revealed that his Animal co-star, Ranbir Kapoor has shared deets about his personal life with the former. He said that Ranbir revealed how he proposed to Alia. Bobby also recalled him telling Ranbir about the birth of the former's first child. Bobby once took to his IG handle and put up a picture of him along with Ranbir Kapoor that featured them lying on the ground. Bobby shared that when that picture was taken he and Ranbir were having these conversations about their personal lives. Bobby said:

"It was a picture of us lying on the ground, waiting for the shot. You know what we were talking about? He was telling me how he proposed to Alia, and I was telling him about my first child’s birth. It was so easy to talk to him about all this. It was a moment we both cherished, and that picture is special to both of us.”

Bobby Deol heaped praises on Ranbir Kapoor

For the unversed, Bobby Deol had a short screen time in the film, Animal. However, talking about the same in the same interview, Bobby Deol mentioned that he became really sad on the last day of his shooting. Bobby then heaped praises on Ranbir and mentioned that he had been a big fan of the latter for a long time. The Yamla Pagla Deewana actor also added how Ranbir showered him with love and respect without even asking for it. 

Bobby also added that both he and Ranbir love to shop. He also mentioned how he has seen Ranbir all growing up in front of his eyes. Bobby said that while Ranbir was young and used to dance at parties, no one was able to take their eyes off him, as he had something else in him. Speaking along the same lines, Bobby stated:

"We have a similar taste in clothes… I was just happy to get a chance to work with him. I’ve seen him grow up in front of me. I’ve seen him when he was younger. And I would always get fascinated looking at him. There was something about him, even as a child, when he’d dance at parties. You couldn’t take your eyes off him,”

Bobby Deol said he had no idea about the Animal sequel

For the unversed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga already thought of the sequel of the movie, Animal and named it Animal Park. A glimpse of the same was portrayed at the end of the movie, wherein Ranbir would be playing a double role as an antagonist and as a protagonist. However, when asked about Animal Park, Bobby said that he had no idea about the same. He further added that he had been listening to talks about making a sequel but had the slightest idea that Animal Park had already been shot.

Yet, in another interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bobby Deol shared a hilarious anecdote about his Animal co-star, Ranbir Kapoor. The actor stated that Ranbir, who doesn't have an official account on IG, used to be on social media constantly while being on the set of Animal.
