One of the television's hottest couple, Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta, is adored by many. The couple got married on March 1, 2008. Soon after that, in 2011, they welcomed their baby girl, Meira. However, for the unversed, the duo has been living separately for the past two years. Recently, a report from the ETimes revealed Barkha has confirmed that she and Indraneil will get divorced soon.
As per the reports of the ETimes, actress, Barkha Bisht has confirmed that Indraneil Sengupta and her divorce should come through soon. The actress also stated that it is one of the hardest decisions she had to make. Barkha said:
"Yes, our divorce should come through soon. This has been one of the toughest decisions of my life."

Indraneil Sengupta, however, hasn't commented anything about the topic. On the other hand, Barkha Bisht also declined to speak on the cause of their divorce. Instead, she stated that her daughter and her work are the top priorities for her right now. The actress shared that she has been busy doing some exciting work in the OTT space. The actress said:
"I am a single mother and Meira is my priority. On the work front, I have been doing interesting projects in the OTT space. I am open to good projects in TV and films, too.”
It was in June 2021, when everyone was shocked by the news that the most adored couple, Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta, had decided to part ways and live separately. Since June 2021, the couple has lived apart.
However, the cause of the conflict involving Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht dominated all the headlines in June 2021. If the reports are to be believed, it was speculated that something was brewing between Indraneil and famous Bengali actress, Ishaa Saha while he was shooting for the film, Tarulotar Bhoot in West Bengal. However, both Barkha and Indraneil had rubbished such speculations. As per the reports, Indraneil stepped out of their joint apartment in February-March 2021 and was residing in the same building with his parents. And it was also reported that Barkha even stopped following Indraneil on Instagram.

Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta met each other on the sets of their show, Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam. Soon after, they became 'good friends' and eventually their friendship turned into courtship. However, after dating for a long time, the duo planned to take their relationship to the next level. So, Indraneil proposed to Barkha to hop onto the forever journey together.
After that, on March 1, 2008, the duo got married in a low-key ceremony in Uttar Pradesh. Indraneil and Barkha also held a reception party at Yari Road, Andheri, on March 30, 2008. However, after three years of marital bliss, the duo was blessed with a baby girl and hopped into the journey of parenthood by welcoming their little princess, Meira, on October 2011.
