One of the popular names in the business world, Ashneer Grover is known for his unfiltered attitude and non-biased opinions. The former MD of BharatPe, Ashneer rose to fame after gracing the popular reality show, Shark Tank India, as one of the judges. Coming to his personal life, Ashneer is married to a NIFT-Delhi graduate and a designer by profession, Madhuri Jain Grover. They are blessed with two kids, Avy and Mannat. Now, as per reports, an FIR has been filed against Ashneer along with his wife, Madhuri and a few family members for their alleged involvement in the fintech fraud of Rs. 81 crores.
According to a report in the Mint, the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) filed an FIR against the former MD of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, along with his wife, Madhuri Jain Grover and some of his family members, including Deepak Gupta, Suresh Jain, and Shwetank Jain for the alleged fintech fraud of Rs. 81 crores. The FIR was filed on May 10, 2023, based on the alleged Rs. 81 crores fraud complaint by BharatPe in December 2022. Ashneer and his family members are charged under eight sections, including 409, 420, 467, and others. The FIR copy read:
“The complaint was received at EOW and enquiry has been conducted into the allegations levelled against alleged persons. From the contents of the complaint and enquiry conducted so far, prima-facie offences punishable under Sections 406/408/409/420/467/468/471/120B IPC (Indian penal code) are made out."

Former MD and co-founder of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover and his family members have been facing a number of court disputes from the last few months. It all began when in March 2022, Ashneer was fired from the fintech on charges of financial irregularities. Afterwards, the company filed a criminal charge and civil suit against him and his family members in December 2022. They alleged Ashneer and his family for the fraud and sought damages. Not only this, even BharatPe also filed an arbitration claim in Singapore to prohibit him from using the title of a co-founder. There were many more such lawsuits launched against the Shark Tank India judge.
Ashneer Grover tied the knot with his entrepreneur wife, Madhuri Jain Grover on July 4, 2006. However, their initial days in Mumbai weren't as luxurious as they are enjoying now. Recently, when the couple graced Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol's podcast show, Couple Of Things, Madhuri opened up about their initial days in Mumbai, 16 years back. They even visited their 1BHK apartment in Mumbai and spoke about one of their old memories. Madhuri revealed that she used to ask her husband to get tomatoes from outside the building before coming home, and they used to eat on the floor. Moreover, she mentioned how they used to buy a single piece of furniture after saving money from their salaries for the entire month.

Ashneer and Madhuri also threw light on some of their marital problems and revealed how they solved them. Elaborating on it, Ashneer revealed that after every fight, they used to step out and travel. Adding to this, Madhuri mentioned that they often used to go out for movies, dinner dates, and shopping. They also revealed that the couple had even travelled to US and Canada with their 48K salary.
