Arshad Warsi's Son, Zeke Desires To Walk In Father's Footsteps, But Says 'I Need To Work On Myself'

In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi's Son, Zeke Zidaan Warsi opened up about his desire to set his foot in the film industry. However, he also revealed what all he needs to do for the same.

Arshad Warsi has etched a beautiful place in the hearts of his millions of fans with his stellar performances in films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Jolly L.L.B., Dhamaal and many more. Indeed, now it seems his onscreen roles have also inspired his son, Zeke. Recently, Arshad's son talked about his desire to follow in his father's footsteps but added what he still needs to do. For the unversed, Arshad married the love of his life, Maria on February 14, 1999, and they were blessed with a son, Zeke on August 10, 2004, and a daughter, Zene Zoe on May 2, 2007.

In a candid conversation with Instant Bollywood, Zeke Zidaan Warsi revealed he has studied film, and currently he is in college. However, he also expressed his desire to enter the entertainment industry, following his father, Arshad Warsi's footsteps. This proves Zeke's love and dedication for his father, Arshad. Zeke said :

"I am actively in college, but I am dabbling in whatever little interests I have. I have studied film, I have interned, I have done my little bits and pieces around it. And I mean obviously in terms of like the similarities in terms of my dressing sense and mannerisms to my dad are inevitable."

Zeke Warsi reveals he needs to work on himself a little more and polish his skills

Further, Zeke was asked when he would like to take up acting and start doing films. To this, Zeke replied that he is very much interested in films, but he feels he needs to work on himself at first. Elaborating on how he needs to polish his skills before setting foot into the film industry, Zeke shared:

"I am very interested in films. I studied films from my 11th and 12th as well and I really enjoyed it. So, I do see it happening, but we will see I need to work on myself a little more, my skills, polish it up a bit and then we can see what it is."

When Arshad Warsi revealed he isn't a hero in his home

Arshad Warsi was part of the popular web series, Asur 2, and undoubtedly, it received huge acclaimation from his fans and even critics. Thus, earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Arshad was asked if his wife, Maria Goretti and their kids, Zeke and Zene Zoe have seen his web series, Asur 2. To this, the actor revealed that his wife, Maria isn't interested in any of his works.

He further revealed that Maria believes he is a good actor but gets only bad projects. Arshad also revealed that he is not a star at home. He talked about his children's different points of view and other generations. However, the Dhamaal actor further added that he hopes his wife and kids watch the two instalments of Asur because there is more to it. He added:

“My daughter and my son have not seen Asur. Nobody gives a sh*t about me at home. I am not a star. They have a different point of view, they are a different generation. Their point of view about films and stories are very different. I hope they know what they are doing. I hope they see it. I want them to see Asur. It is a very intelligent web series. There is so much to it.”
