Recently, a Reddit user shared a screengrab of Arjun's conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan in the comment section of one of his posts. Reacting to the pictures, Kareena mentioned that Arjun had started training, and the latter confirmed it by saying that Bebo knew why he was doing so. Sharing the picture, the user penned:

Now that the picture surfaced online, netizens were quick to react to the buzz around Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora's wedding. While some users pointed out that the whole fiasco around the duo's breakup was a PR gimmick, others claimed that Arjun and Kareena were talking about the former's upcoming project. However, some people also mentioned that if Arjun and Malaika were to get married, they would have done it long back.

On August 27, 2023, the shutterbugs spotted Malaika and Arjun as they stepped out for a lunch date. In a video shared by a paparazzo page, Malaika looked beautiful in a cream-toned laser-cut co-ord set. Keeping her look minimal, she went for a low bun and donned a pair of glasses. On the other hand, Arjun donned a black-coloured t-shirt with baggy pants.

When Malaika Arora attended the India Today Conclave 2023 event, she opened up about several aspects of her life. Talking about her relationship with her boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor, the actress mentioned that they are in no hurry to get married. She further revealed that she and Arjun are in their pre-honeymoon phase and if they want to get married, they will, but marriage is not the end of everything. Malaika said:
"Why is marriage the be all and end all for everything? Marriage is something which is discussed between two people. If we have to take that plunge, we will think about it, we will decide and we will talk about it. In this moment, we are just loving our life. We are enjoying our pre-honeymoon phase."
