Arbaaz Khan grabbed a lot of limelight recently, when he got hitched to talented makeup artist, Sshura Khan. For the unversed, the actor was previously married to Malaika Arora and the duo is blessed with a son, Arhaan. However, they ended their marriage in May 2017, when they were granted divorce. Five years later after his divorce, Arbaaz gave love a second chance by getting hitched to Sshura. While the couple celebrated their union in an intimate nikaah ceremony, nevertheless, the duo faced a lot of backlash due to their alleged age difference.
In the recent episode of the entertainment show, Madness Machayenge: India Ko Hasayenge, ace comedian, Harsh Gujral was seen poking fun at Arbaaz Khan, who was a guest on the show. Harsh mocked Arbaaz for getting married for a second time, by narrating an incident wherein his father suggested him to get married. Recalling his response to his father, Harsh explained:
“Mere pitaji aapke Arbaaz bhai bahut bade fan hain. Kehte hain Arbaaz bhai se kuch seekho. Maine kaha kya seekhna hai? Unhone shaadi kar li, aap bhi kar lo. Maine kaha papa unhone jis umar mein kari hai, aapko seekhna chahiye.”

Interestingly, Arbaaz Khan wasn’t offended with the joke made on his personal life and instead took it very sportingly. Moreover, he even offered a sassy reply to Harsh’s joke and remarked that he has, in fact, sent a benchmark for many others out there. In his words:
“Benchmark set kara hai. Sabke liye scope rakha hai.”
Previously, in an interaction with The Indian Express, Arbaaz Khan defended the frequent criticism he received over his age difference with his wifey, Sshura Khan. He accepted that they do have an enormous age gap, but at the end, his better half is mature enough to decide for herself what she wanted in her life. Moreover, Arbaaz asserted that he and Sshura spent well-enough time together for about a year and explored what the future of their relationship would mean if they were to end up together.

In the same interview, Arbaaz shared that during the initial years of their relationship, even his family wasn’t aware about him dating Sshura Khan. Moreover, he claimed that once they knew about him and Sshura wanting to be together, they were more than happy. In his words:
“Initially, they didn’t know. They knew I was just meeting someone, but when they realised that this is a huge step that I am taking, they were more than happy. In moments like these, you have the support of your loved ones because they know these decisions are made between two mature people.”
