While Ayushmann is ruling Bollywood, Aparshakti is following his brother's footsteps and creating his own niche in the industry. However, after achieving a lot of success in their fields of work, the duo is inseparable.
On September 14, 2020, Ayushmann Khurrana turned a year older and to make his day super special, Aparshakti scrolled through his photo gallery to dig out their first photoshoot picture. Yes, the actor shared the first photoshoot picture with the birthday boy, Ayushmann on his Instagram handle. In the picture, they can be seen twinning in white and striking a same pose. Alongside it, Aparshakti wrote, "Picture from our first photoshoot together. Our hairstyle might be a little controversial but my love for him was definite and remains so. Always his first fan. Coming back to their brotherly bond, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Aparshakti had talked about being compared to his brother, Ayushmann. He had said, "I am yet to read any article comparing me and Ayushmann. Moreover, I think I am yet to become an equal to Ayushmann. Comparisons can only be done between equals. I am yet to reach there. Had I felt the pressure of being Ayushmann’s brother, I would not have taken up my first film." In an interview with The Times of India, Aparshakti was asked if he feels any competition with Ayushmann and to this, he had replied beautifully, "Competition generally happens between two equals. In our case, Ayushmann and I are in different spaces of cinema. He has always been a front-runner. His films differ from mine, and so does our audience. There can't be any comparison, because comparison takes place between two equals and we both have different paths in the industry. There can't be any competition. Ayushmann is a brilliant actor. He is doing a great job. We both really want to work together. Unfortunately, we have not got any script yet. We both are looking forward to collaborating on something special."
