On May 4, 2024, the players of Gujarat Titans (GT) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were pitted against each other for the IPL 2024 match. As Virat Kohli was busy proving his mettle on the cricket ground, his proud wife, Anushka Sharma, was seen cheering for him from the stands. Dressed in a comfy white-hued outfit, Anushka left her tresses open as she flaunted a new mommy glow. The actress' first public appearance after Akaay's birth left everyone in awe of her.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in 2017 after dating for almost four years. During an interview with Wrogn, Virat opened up about the valuable lessons he learnt from Anushka and revealed how she taught him to stand by the truth, no matter what. He added that his wife always told him not to worry about anything if he was standing by the truth. Virat shared that Anushka's learning is due to her upbringing and her father's service in the army and that he learns a lot from him every day.
Anushka Sharma rang in her 36th birthday on May 1, 2024, and she had an intimate bash for the same. Chef, Manu Chandra dropped an inside picture of Anushka's birthday bash, which featured popular cricketers like Glenn Maxwell and Faf Du Plessis. While Virat looked dapper in an all-black ensemble, Anushka stole the show in her stunning outfit. The diva was dressed in a lavender-hued shirt with silver embellishments all over it and paired it with blue jeans. Leaving her tresses open, she accessorised her look with a classy handbag. It was Anushka's first appearance after giving birth to Akaay, and her transformation left our jaws dropped. Faf Du Plessis also dropped a picture from the midnight bash and penned:

On May 1, 2024, Anushka Sharma turned 36 years old, and her husband, Virat Kohli shared a special wish for her on his Instagram handle. The cricketer posted a series of pictures of the love of his life from their stay in London. Anushka looked as gorgeous as ever in the unseen pictures and was also seen having a gala time as she explored the streets of London. Alongside the photos, Virat penned a heartfelt note for Anushka on behalf of their kids, Vamika and Akaay, which could be read as:
"I would have been completely lost if I didn’t find you. Happy birthday my love. You are the light to our world world. We love you so much."
