Ashneer Grover might not have been part of Shark Tank India, post his stint in the first season, but he continues to make his presence felt in the third season as well. While the makers will not agree, fans of Shark Tank India will agree that Ashneer Grover's rude remarks and poker face definitely added the spice factor to the reality show. Recently, Anupam Kher took an ugly dig at Ashneer and later apologised for the same.
In the latest episode of Shark Tank India 3, one pitcher, Pusarla Venkarj Suraj pitched his business idea for managing anger with his business, The Rage Room. During his pitch, Suraj asked, "Sharks aapko bhi aisa gussa aata hoga na?" To which, Anupam instantly joked and made fun of Ashneer without taking his name directly. He said:
"Jisko aata tha woh gaya."

While the fellow sharks, Vineeta and Namita, laughed at the remark, Anupam instantly rectified his joke and apologised. However, Anupam didn't name anyone, but it was clear that he was referring to the former shark, Ashneer Grover, who didn't mince his words before sharing his thoughts on the show. We wonder how Ashneer, who is known for calling a spade, a spare, will react to the mean remark of Anupam Mittal.
For those who don't know, Ashneer Grover and his wife, Madhuri Jain, allegedly siphoned off funds from the fintech unicorn on the pretext of offering recruitment services, according to a preliminary report of an investigation by the Economic Offences Wing. Ashneer took to the social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), and revealed that he was planning to go to the US from November 16 to 23, when he was stopped at the airport. Further in his note, Ashneer revealed that this incident came as a shock as he had travelled out of India; this concern had never been raised, and he had not even summoned once. He concluded the note by stating that people can publish whatever they want to.
After his stint in the first season of Shark Tank India, Ashneer went through a rough phase as he was stripped of all the positions from his company, BharatPe. According to reports, BharatPe registered a complaint against Grover and his family in December 2022. The company's co-founders, Bhavik Koladiya and Shahvat Nakrani, filed a complaint against Grover for a share dispute.
