Amala Paul has been a popular face in the South Indian film industry. She has worked in many films in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages. In her personal life, Amala is on cloud nine as she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Jagat Desai, in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Kochi on November 5, 2023. In addition, her wedding attire is also simply unmissable. For the unversed, Amala Paul was earlier married to ace director, AL Vijay, but the couple parted ways in 2017.
Soon after getting married, Amala Paul took to her IG handle, and in a collaborative post with her entrepreneur boyfriend, Jagat Desai, she shared an array of glimpses from their wedding. In the delightful pictures from the wedding, the couple looked simply stunning together. From getting candidly clicked with Jagat to the loving husband giving a peck of love on Amala's shoulders, the love between the newlyweds was clearly visible in the mesmerising photos. Sharing the collaborative post, they penned:
“Two souls, one destiny, walking hand-in-hand with my divine feminine, for the rest of this lifetime. #married #twinflame”.

For the wedding, Amala donned a lavender-hued lehenga, which featured heavy embellishments all over it. She teamed her look with a matching choli with a plunging neckline and a sheer dupatta. In addition, the actress opted for unique necklaces. While a choker adorned with emeralds and pearl beads paired with matching earrings for her day wedding and violet gemstones featuring layered necklaces for the evening event. Glam makeup, including blushed cheeks, winged eyeliner, glittery eyeshadow, nude lipstick and an open hairdo, completed her look. On the other hand, Jagat twinned with Amala in a lavender-hued sherwani, and together, they looked radiant in their wedding ensembles.
On October 26, 2023, Amala celebrated her birthday with Jagat Desai. However, the same day, Jagat also left her in awe with his surprise wedding proposal. Afterwards, he shared a video from the same on his IG handle. In the video, he was seen dancing with the dancers, and later, Amala also joined him. Following this, Jagat was seen kneeling to propose to Amala, and she looked completely shocked. Undoubtedly, Amala too, gave an affirmation to Jagat's proposal and kissed him. Sharing the video, Jagat wrote:
"My Gypsy Queen said yes #weddingbells Happy birthday my love."

Coming to Amala's previous marriage, she had tied the knot with ace director, AL Vijay in Chennai in 2014. They had fallen for each other while working on the film, Deiva Thirumagal. However, soon, their married life hit rock bottom for reasons, best known to them. Then, in 2016, they filed for divorce, and they were granted the same in 2017.
