Now as Alia's look as a Bengali girl went viral online, a Reddit thread started comparing it to the 'Bengaliness' that was portrayed by Deepika Padukone in the movie, Piku.

In the picture, both actresses looked stunning as they flaunted their gorgeousness in their respective ensembles. The picture featured Deepika looking gorgeous as she donned a beautiful red-hued saree and paired it with a black blouse. The actress completed her look with a bun, kohled eyes, and a bindi on her forehead. On the other hand, Alia looked beautiful in a red saree and sleeveless blouse. She also completed her proper Bengali look with kohled eyes and a bindi on her forehead, and needless to say, both the actresses slayed in their respective attires.

As soon as such the picture was shared on a Reddit thread, netizens started comparing Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. While some netizens claimed that such a comparison was needless, others mentioned that Alia could never beat Deepika. Reacting to the photo, one user wrote, "Dp in Piku was something else. She was raw and natural." Another internet user took to the comment section and wrote, "Me being a Punjabi, can say better Khela Hobe than Alia!" Another netizen stated, "Alia can never outcharm DP. This is an unfair comparison." Another comment can be read as:

The Piku actress was again trolled as she reportedly started following an anti-Alia account on Twitter, after the latter's Met Gala debut. However, a fan page of Deepika Padukone later claimed that Deepika wasn't aware of the same, and they had messaged the actress about the malfunctions of the former account, and the actress unfollowed it instantly.
