This was the first time she organised such a grand event, that was graced by several global leaders and philanthropists from around the world. For the unversed, through the gala evening, the actress wished to raise funds for the Indian NGO, Salaam Bombay, that would look after the welfare of children in underprivileged zones. For her first appearance to the Hope Gala, Alia swooned hearts in a wine-hued strappy velvet gown, it featured a deep neckline and stone embellishments on the borders. Soft base makeup, open tresses and a stunning sapphire neckpiece completed her dainty look.

Yet again, at the Hope Gala 2024, it was her simple look along with a splash of luxury that did all the talking. Yes, we are talking about that stunning piece of jewellery that the actress chose to adorn her outfit with. On digging a little deeper, we found out that Alia’s Sapphire Lace Necklace was from the international brand, Bvlgari. According to the brand, this exquisite piece of jewellery is priced approximately at Rs. 20 crores.
For her second look as the hostess of the Hope Gala 2024, Alia Bhatt chose to shine bright in Indian weaves and draped an ivory-hued vintage saree. Designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, the saree is aged 30-years-old and was weaved with resham threads. Apart from self-designing, it featured motifs of the leaf and flowers. The saree was originally designed in 1994, and then re-designed for the diva in 2024, taking about 3500 hours in totality.

For instance, back in February 2024, Alia graced the promotional event for her produced film, Poacher. Flaunting her love for sarees, the diva slipped into an elegant velvet saree in black hue. The outfit, chosen from the shelves of ace designer, Sabyasachi featured a golden sleek border and an elaborate flower motif at the end of her pallu. She completed her look with her hair tied in a bun, bold red lips and subtle makeup.
