Recently, a Reddit user shared a picture of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, as they enjoyed their vacation in New York City. In the picture, originally posted by a fan page, Alia and Ranbir can be seen posing for a happy picture with some fans. Dressed in matching black ensembles, the duo looked stunning in their respective looks. However, it was Alia's bold red lips that caught everyone's attention in the picture. Sharing the picture, the user penned:
"Finally Alia’s seen wearing a lipstick guys!!"

Soon after the picture was shared on the discussion portal, netizens were quick to react to the same. Taking to the post's comment section, netizens started taking a dig at the duo, claiming that Alia has been using her PR to wipe off Ranbir's toxic husband image. While a section of social media users called Alia pretty, others were shocked to see how hard she was trying to make things normal amid the ongoing lipstick controversy.
On September 5, 2023, Karisma Kapoor took to her IG handle and dropped a series of pictures from her New York vacation. In one of the pictures, the actress can be seen posing for the lens with Alia and Ranbir, and it was a wholesome sight. While Ranbir gave a sweet peck of love on his cousin's cheek, Alia smiled the brightest. Sharing the picture, Karisma penned:
