Aamir Khan is one of the finest actors of his generation. He is known for his superbly versatile acting skills, which mesmerises everyone in no time. Moreover, he is known for his handsome looks, which doesn’t really indicate his actual age on screen. In his personal life, Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Ira and a son, Junaid. After their divorce, Aamir got married again to Kiran Rao, and the duo got blessed with a son, Azaad. However, Aamir and Kiran also parted ways in 2021, and have chosen to co-parent their son together.
Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan has been long buzzed to make his film debut, opposite Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor. The film is a remake of 2022-released Tamil film, Love Today. And now, according to a latest report in Pinkvilla, Junaid has bagged yet another opportunity, and it is none other than his father, Aamir Khan who will be producing it. The report states that Junaid’s next project will be a romantic film, with a supernatural touch to it. Junaid will reportedly play the role of an insurance investigator, who falls in love with the spirit of a woman in coma. However, there are no confirmations to the news as of now.

In one of his previous interactions with the Hindustan Times, Aamir had once opened up about his son, Junaid’s acting debut. Aamir highlighted that his son has just followed his passion and cleared the air about the misconceptions that Junaid would be coming into into films because of his family’s lineage in the film industry. He also mentioned that his son never asked for his advice in films, and that he would never make it easy for his son by making a film for him.
During his appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, Aamir Khan once revealed that during the period of the pandemic, he went through a lot of retrospection and realised that he only spent his entire adult life into films and work, and never gave enough time to nurture his family and relationships. In his words:
“I've been through a lot of introspection during COVID. I felt, jab se maine hosh sambhala hai, since the time I was 18, I've been working. Tab se leke ab tak, I'm 57 now, my entire adult life, jo meri journey rahi hai, filmo ki usme mere rishte hain, unko maine shayad utna nurture nahi kiya jitna maine apne kaam ko kiya. Mujhe uss cheez ka andaza hua suddenly.”
