Aamir Ali rose to fame with his stint in the serial, Kya Dil Mein Hai. He thereafter became a part of countless commercial advertisements and even lifted the trophy in the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 3. In his personal life, Aamir was married to his co-actress, Sanjeeda Shaikh, whom he had dated for several years before tying the knot in 2012. However, they separated after eight years of marital bliss and were granted divorce in 2021. For the unversed, the duo have a daughter, whose custody after their separation has been granted to Sanjeeda.
Aamir Ali is currently gearing up for his upcoming release, The Trial: Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhokha. During a promotional interview with Zoom, Aamir Ali opened up about his life after getting a divorce from his ex-wife. He briefly spoke about his personal life and mentioned that he was in a happy space and was enjoying the best time of his life. Furthermore, he indirectly wished his ex-wife everything best for her life as well. In his words:
“I wish everybody all the best. And about me, I am just having the best time of my life."

Going further in the interview, Aamir spoke about his stance on doing bold scenes on-screen, especially on OTT platforms these days. He revealed that since earlier he had only been engaged in daily soaps which seldom showcased such scenes, he was a bit shy at first. However, after all they were actors and added that the filmmaker knows the best way to portray the scenes in a less-awkward manner. He mentioned:
“Main thoda sa shy rehta hoon. I am an actor and if the makers are good and if I trust the maker, main janta hoon sleazy nahi hoga. A good maker will never film an sex scene in a sleazy manner."
In an earlier interview with the Bombay Times, Aamir had recalled the tormented past phase during his divorce from his ex-wife, Sanjeeda Shaikh. He admitted that such a decision in his personal life had shaken him totally, since he had spent over nine years of togetherness with the latter. Nevertheless, he added that he believes everything happens for a reason and he has learnt to never give up. However, he also revealed that he harbours no ill feelings about his ex-wife, and he wished her the best for all her future endeavours.

In yet another of his interviews with ETimes, Aamir had once revealed that he was not allowed to meet his daughter, Ayra post his divorce from Sanjeeda. He mentioned that although he wished not to play a victim card, he still believed that a man is always blamed. He concluded with the hoped his daughter would have a best life with her mother.
