Bollywood diva, Shamita Shetty, the beautiful younger sister of Shilpa Shetty, is known for her peppy dance numbers and chic fashion. The actress often garners the limelight for one reason or the other. Shamita has once again hit the headlines, as she was spotted in the city with popular actor, Aamir Ali, and their camaraderie caught everyone's attention. Now, everybody is talking about Shamita and Aamir, wondering if something is brewing between the couple.
On January 27, 2023, Shamita Shetty was spotted exiting a restaurant after attending her friend's party. For the occasion, the actress opted for a white-hued top featuring a plunging neckline and noodle straps. Pairing it with a black-hued leather skirt which had studs adorned on it, Shamita looked stunning. The actress happily posed for the paps outside the restaurant, but suddenly her close friend, Aamir Ali, photobombed her session. The actor looked dapper in a grey-coloured t-shirt, blue pants and a white jacket.

However, what caught everyone's attention was the duo's friendly banter as they bid goodbye to each other. In the viral video, we can see Aamir Ali escorting Shamita Shetty to her car. While Shamita waited to get into her car, Aamir held her by her waist and was seen being extremely protective of her. As soon as she gets into the car, Aamir leans in to give her a kiss on her cheek. This adorable moment sent everyone into a meltdown, as it was too cute to be missed.

As soon as the video went viral, netizens started questioning the proximity between Shamita and Aamir, wondering if the duo was dating each other. While one user commented, "Is she dating him? Ye aunty sudharenge nahi", another one penned, "Rakesh kha gya abb iska?" Meanwhile, a third user commented, "Amir Ali, yeh toh wahi hai n Sanjeeda sheikh ka husband abhi 2021 me divorce hua hai and usko toh child bhi hai. KY ho RHA hai."

Shamita Shetty had met with Raqesh Bapat on the sets of Bigg Boss OTT. Though Raqesh was earlier married to actress, Riddhi Dogra, for seven years, it did not stop Shamita from falling in love with him. After coming out from the game show, the duo later shared the screen on Bigg Boss 15 as well. Their huge fanbase used to call them 'ShaRa'. However, things went wrong, and the couple parted ways in July 2022. And though, Shamita and Raqesh launched a song together for their fans, the duo confirmed that they were no longer together.
Aamir Ali was previously married to actress, Sanjeeda Shaikh, but the two didn't have a happy ending. For the unversed, Aamir and Sanjeeda tied the knot on March 2, 2012, and the duo welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy, whom they had named Ayra Ali. However, Sanjeeda and Aamir's marriage hit a rough patch in 2020, which lead to multiple differences between them. After months of speculation, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh officially separated from each other in 2021. While they were co-parenting their baby girl, Ayra until last year, it was in February 2022, when Sanjeeda got full custody of her baby girl.
