"Papa mai jaa rahi hoon, Mona ka khayal rkhna, Mona ko kisi ko nahi dena, mat ladna kisi se mere liye. Galti meri thi, shaadi mai ne kari thi, mere pariwaar wale ache nahi hai, bilkul bhi nahi ache. Jo apne bete ke nahi hue vo mere kya hoge. Mai ne kisi ko nahi mara na saas ko mara na devar ko maara. As soon as the video was shared, netizens rushed to share their opinion. One usr wrote, "I live in India, and this is something I’ve seen not only within families but also among neighbors. They hear the screams, they see what’s happening, and even when someone is desperately begging for help and asking them to call the police, they stay silent. They only step in once the person crying for help is dead. Rest in peace."

Another one commented, "Leave if you must, rebuild if you have to, but never give up your life for someone who doesn't value it. A broken relationship can be rebuilt. A lost life cannot. Choose yourself!" Another wrote, "Indian parents & their sons. Now after so many girls choosing to kill themselves rather than returning to their parents. The parents will shed tears & say arre she had a home, we didn’t know it was that bad. But they knew ! They told her to adjust, keep quiet, not be a problem, not bring shame to family & to them, think about kids, think about finances, think about everything else but themselves."

A fifth user penned, "Let’s normalize leaving abusive relationships, whether you’re a man or a a woman. I understand that politicians, the police, the people around you, or society might make you feel like your life doesn’t matter, whatever the reason. But it does. Believe me, your life is worth so much more."
