After a decades-long career, Harris has built a strong career in both the public and private sectors. In fact, he is also a popular voice on criminal justice reform.
Before entering the consulting business, Conan worked at Boston City Hall as a senior public safety adviser. Later, he served as a deputy director of the Mayor's Office of Public Safety under former Mayor Martin J Walsh.
For those unaware, Conan had also served 10 years of his youth in prison for drug trafficking. In turn, he decided to work for people re-entering society after his release. He has also testified before Congress about the challenges faced by formerly incarcerated people.
Conan Harris met Ayanna Pressley in 2010 while they were working in Boston's civic and political community. At the time, Ayanna was serving on the Boston City Council. Soon, the relationship developed through shared experiences and a mutual understanding of the impact that criminal justice has on families.
Ayanna's father had struggled with substance abuse and spent several years in and out of prison. Meanwhile, Conan rebuilt his life after serving his prison sentence.
Therefore, after dating for nearly three years, the couple tied the knot on May 25, 2014, in a private ceremony at the historic African Meeting House in Boston. Later, they celebrated with a honeymoon in Martha' s Vineyard.
Conan also has a daughter, Cora, from a previous relationship. In turn, Ayanna often describes herself as Cora's "Bonus Mom". Together, they make a beautiful blended family.
Conan Harris has made headlines after Boston Police started a death investigation for a body found on the grounds of his property in the Mattapan neighbourhood.
According to police, officers responded to the location at Arvind at 1:52 p.m. EDT on July 18, 2026, after getting reports of an unattended death. Until now, the authorities have not released the identity, age or gender of the deceased. In fact, they don't even know the cause of the person's death yet.
The property was reportedly listed for sale. It is an eight-bedroom, four-bathroom home that can accommodate multiple families. At the same time, Boston Police's spokesperson, John Boyle, said that the incident is being treated as a death investigation. But he said nothing about whether the case is related to Ayanna and Conan.
The couple has maintained their silence on the matter. For those unaware, just a week earlier, Conan was mentioned in the local news regarding a company he is a partner in. The company was selected for a major courthouse construction project in Massachusetts.
Eventually, the project became the subject of a lawsuit filed by an unsuccessful bidder, although Ayannah was not accused of any wrongdoing. Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the case of a body found at Conna's Boston property, and they might soon share the details with the public.
