Trisha Krishnan broke the silence after some 'crude words' were attached to her name and photos from a recent event. Following this, filmmaker-actor R Parthiban extended apologies for his remarks!
Trisha Krishnan has been grabbing the attention with her personal life lately. The actress was linked to Vijay Thalapathy in recent years. Vijay, who has been married to his wife, Sangeeth, recently sparked controversy, with speculation being rife that she filed for divorce, citing his alleged affair with an actress. Such speculation took no time to reignite the buzz about Vijay and Trisha.
Following this, Trisha and Vijay together made an appearance at an event, which left everyone wondering if the speculations were actually true. Amid this, filmmaker-actor R Parthiban also commented on the actress. This time, Trisha didn't sit back and replied with a note, wherein she slammed the usage of 'crude words' against her.
It most recently happened that R Parthiban was asked about Trisha. Prathiban attended the Galatta Awards, wherein he was shown a photo of Trisha and was asked about his thoughts on his collaborator. To this, he made a comment, stating her role was 'Kundavai'. Well, this term was used with wordplay and in a dismissive context, which further didn't go down well with the actress. Prathibhan said, 'This Kundavai should be kept at home for a few days. That’s good. Don’t let her come out.'
Trisha Krishnan took to her X (Twitter), and hit back at the crude remarks that were made against her. She mentioned that she was recently informed by organisers that her photo was used at the last minute at an event at the request of an individual, conveyed through his assistant. She also stated that making a comment loudly on a microphone doesn't scream intelligence or humour, but it speaks stupidity even louder. She further slammed Pratibhan's remark against her, stating that using a crude remark speaks more about the person who said it rather than the person about whom it's used. Her statement could be read as:
"I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant. A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder. Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they’re aimed at."
No sooner did Trisha Krishnan drop the post, than Pratibhan came forward to share his side of the story. He revealed that he was answering during a rapid-fire round, and when the photo of Trisha came up, he, without thinking, made that comment, as people in the audience were chattering that term. He also expressed his regret over using such a word that made other people hurt. Pratibhan stated that wherever he goes, he talks about female freedom. Stating more about what actually happened, Pratibhan wrote:
"I don't prefer problems to get big. Even when I visit colleges, I only speak about women's freedom. Everybody must divorce unnecessary constraints and embrace freedom and live happily. So, women are the world's biggest creative force."
Trisha Krishnan's personal life has already made headlines with her link-up buzz with Vijay Thalapathy. It all began with Trisha penning down a birthday note for the actor, tagging them as each other's 'storm to calm'. However, time and again, the couple came forward and slammed such speculations. It most recently happened that the actor's wife, Sangeetha, reportedly filed for divorce, and she cited a cheating angle of the actor. As per the plea, the actor, even after reassuring her several times, kept having an affair with an actress. Reportedly, Sangeetha has no wish to reconcile, and she will ask for permanent alimony.
