Survivor 50 finale aired on CBS on Wednesday, and this time, the coveted 'Sia Prize' made a comeback for a fan-favourite contestant. Who won the historic 2M?
Survivor 50 season finale has officially crowned its winner after a tense season full of shocking twists and heated fan debates. The dramatic finale, which aired live on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, brought back all 24 former castaways, including icons such as Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, and Season 45 winner, Dee Valladares. In what is being called a milestone season of the reality game show, returning fan favourite Aubry Bracco finally claimed the title of the 'Sole Survivor' and walked away with a grand prize worth USD 2 million.
The finale also brought back the iconic live reunion format and ended with a surprising return of the coveted "Sia Prize" worth USD 100,000 for a well-deserving fan-favorite contestant.
The three-hour finale, titled Reverse the Curse, aired live on CBS and began with the 24 former castaways arriving on the beaches of Fiji as the five finalists, Aubry Bracco, Jonathan Young, Joe Hunter, Tiffany Ervin, and Rizo Velovic, battled for survival. Jonanath secured his own safety and position in the final four in the first immunity challenge. While Tiffany attempted to convince others at Tribal Council that Aubry's underdog narrative made her their biggest threat, she was ultimately voted out after Rizo played his hidden immunity idol. In her final confessional, Tiffany said:
"I was seen as one of the biggest threats on the beach. It just lets me know that, I guess, I’m a ‘Survivor’ giant, too."
At the final four, the contestants learned they would compete in the iconic 'Simmotion' immunity challenge. Jonathan was eliminated first, followed by Rizo, and by the final immunity challenge, it was a do-or-die deal between Aubry and Joe. Aubry ultimately outlasted Joe, earning her first immunity win of the season and securing a direct spot in the Final Tribal Council.
It was at this point that host Jeff Probst dropped another bombshell, revealing that fans had voted for the Fire-Making Challenge to decide the final finalist. Aubry chose to take Joe to the end, leading Jonathan and Rizo to redeem themselves for the final challenge. However, before the challenge aired, Probst accidentally spoiled the result during the live segment when he introduced Rizo as the final jury member.
While the cast and viewers were left stunned at the revelation, Rizo was ultimately taken down by Jonathan, who, in turn, claimed the last finalist's spot. The audience and cast were left stunned before Probst jokingly called this blunder the "last twist of the season."

When Aubry entered the season, she carried one of the biggest redemption arcs in Survivor history. After previously finishing as runner-up in Kaoh Rong and missing the mark in her later appearances, she finally managed to close a deal as the 'Sole Survivor' in Season 50. Aubry's win came after a nail-biting exchange at the Final Tribal Council. With all three finalists facing tough questions from the jury, she emerged victorious with an 8-3-0 victory over Jonathan and Joe. Reflecting on her win after multiple setbacks, Aubry said:
"I came back, and I was more intuitive. I trusted myself, and I moved differently. And most importantly, I learned from all the players before me."
With her Sole Survivor title, Aubry not only received the USD 2 million grand prize money but also became the owner of a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser during the live reunion.
Ever since Survivor introduced the coveted "Sia Prize" during Season 32, Survivor: Kaoh Rong (2016), it has become an unforgettable tradition, continuing across multiple seasons until Season 45 (2023). In case you didn't know, this prize is awarded by singer Sia herself, who awards a handsome amount in prize money to her favorite contestants, often underdogs or players with inspiring stories.
In the previous seasons, former contestants, including Donathan Hurley, Davie Rickenbacker, Rick Devens, Elaine Stott, Janet Carbin, Jesse Lopez, Carolyn Wiger, and Katurah Topps, won the Sia Prize. And this time, the coveted prize returned, with fan-favorite Cirie Fields walking away with USD 100,000 from Sia. The audience erupted into applause as Probst noted that the result should come as no surprise. Cirie was also honored earlier in the finale with the Spirit of Survivor Award for inspiring players and fans throughout the franchise’s history.
During the finale reunion, actor-filmmaker Mike White made a virtual appearance from France, where he is filming The White Lotus Season 4, and officially announced that contestants Charlie Davis and Kamilla Karthigesu will make cameos in the new season of Survivor. Host Jedd Probst has already teased Survivor 51, promising some "dangerous new elements" when the series returns later this year.
