Well, the actress has been grabbing attention for a while now. It all began during one of her events for her latest film, Maa Inti Bangaaram. A clip from the same went viral on social media and some eagle-eyed fans noticed her baby bump. While it was just a speculation till now, a source has now confirmed the good news.
A while ago, a source close to much-loved actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and the creator of The Family Man, Raj Nidimoru, had a conversation with HT City. During the conversation, the source confirmed that the power couple is expecting their first child within six months of their marriage. Samantha and Raj tied the knot in December 2025. The source was quoted as saying:
"Yes it is true. The couple is truly delighted for this new beginning, and they will make an announcement in some time."
A few days ago, a video clip of Samantha Ruth Prabhu made rounds on social media. In the same, she was seen in a casual outfit and was interacting with people around her. While nothing was confirmed, it looked like the actress was celebrating her movie, Maa Inti Bangaaram. Soon after the clip went viral, one user commented, "Is that true? If then, congratulations Samantha." Another user wrote, "News will be out soon; for now, they're keeping it a secret. You may be right. Her face is slightly filled in… a classic first-trimester thing." A third user penned, "Okay, we don't know if she's pregnant, but who said you can't get pregnant with myositis?" However, it is worth noting that neither Samantha nor Raj has confirmed the same.
In 2024, Samantha Ruth Prabhu once sat down for an interview, during which she opened up about embracing motherhood. When asked about if her age is a barrier, the actress made it clear that she doesn’t think it is late and is looking forward to embracing motherhood. Sharing the same, Samantha was quoted as saying:
"I don’t think it’s too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and yeah of course I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother, it’s quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a mother."
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has often grabbed attention for her personal life. For the unversed, she was previously married to Naga Chaitanya. After the divorce, the actress took a break from love and focused on her career. However, the shooting of The Family Man 2 changed her life. During the shooting, the actress met the filmmaker, Raj Nidimoru and they became good friends. Later, they collaborated on Citadel: Honey Bunny, which strengthened their bond.
Soon, rumours around Samantha and Raj dating each other began to surface. However, the couple maintained their silence. After months of speculations, in December 2025, Samantha and Raj tied the knot with each other in an intimate ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi temple inside the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. Talking about her married life, Samantha once shared:
"Raj and I really are that irritating couple that does everything together. We work together, we play together, and we work out together with Paridhi. And we love it."
