Salman Khan recently sparked health concerns after allegedly falling ill on stage during a Weekend ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 20. A clip featuring the actor and reality show host has gone viral, in which he is seen expressing discomfort, lying down on stage, and calling for doctors. The clip drew hundreds of comments and queries from worried fans, who demanded an update on his condition. Amid that, Salman issued a statement regarding what actually went down.

Salman Khan broke silence after sparking health concerns during the shoot of Bigg Boss 20

Salman Khan appeared to have faced health troubles during an episode of Bigg Boss 20, scheduled to air on September 20, 2026. In the episode promo, he was seen placing his hand on his chest and complaining of pain. The Dabangg actor's pained expression scared the live audience and the contestants, with many seeking medical assistance. Salman then lay down on the stage, holding his chest and calling for a doctor.

The promo then cut abruptly, leaving viewers hanging about what happened next. As netizens took to social media to express worries about Salman's health, he issued a clarification. He mentioned that he was absolutely fine and that nothing was wrong with his health. He explained that the buzz around the topic was generated because the showmakers edited the promo clip in a certain way.

Salman apologised to viewers on behalf of the Bigg Boss 19 team, admitting it was wrong of them to send such false health-scare messages. He said it might have been the showmakers' way of promoting the show by generating buzz around the upcoming episodes. Regardless, Salman asked for forgiveness from his fans and stated:

"Nothing is wrong with my health by the grace of God, The bigg boss promo should not have been cut like the way it was cut...Sorry abt the way the promo was cut, Guess it's the format that they use in promoting the shows, I apologise on their behalf."

In the same post, Salman Khan also revealed the real truth behind his alleged chest pain video. He claimed the dramatic moment was an act and a mockery of popular contestant Qazi Touqeer's actions. Salman wanted Qazi to understand that using someone's health for entertainment was not right.

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star tried to give Qazi a taste of his own medicine; however, things took a different turn, beating Salman's purpose behind the act. He ended his statement by thanking the BB20 team for sharing the updated promo, which showcases the reality behind his alleged chest pain. He wrote:

"It totally beats the purpose n looks like I am doing the same thing that kazi was doing in the house, the pain was only to show kazi that wat he did was wrong coz he used his health for entertainment specially when the 15 people in the house were not aware that he was acting and were getting worried for his health."

More about Qazi Touqeer

Qazi Touqeer rose to fame after becoming the joint winner of the 2005 music reality show Fame Gurukul alongwith Ruprekha Banerjee. Bollywood's favorite vocalist, Arijit Singh, was also part of the show, and he ended in sixth position. With Bigg Boss 20, he returned to the reality TV scene after nearly two decades. Qazi, who hails from Srinagar, was born on June 2, 1985, and is 41 years old as of 2026.

After winning Fame Gurukul, Qazi and Ruprekha released their album Yeh Pal, which didn't produce the desired outcome. After that, Qazi tried to pursue acting, but it didn't materialise. He later tried his hand in Bollywood music, appearing years later on the track Afgan Jalebi, featuring Katrina Kaif, from the 2015 film Phantom. Now, he is appearing in BB20, aiming to return to the spotlight and finally get the much-awaited career break.
