Just because Varun Yadav didn't react to it, people laughed it off, but the internet is clearly not happy, as they have always loved the actor.
In the latest episode of Lock Upp 2, a particular incident left many in disgust. In the clip, Ram Kapoor is seen next to Varun's cheeks. Then, he went on to have another kiss by putting his hand on him and forcibly kissing him on his lips. This left Yogest Rawat, Sunita Ahuja and Shivangi Joshi laughing. But this left netizens extremely shocked.
Right after forcibly kissing, Varun took a dig at Ram's remark on cheating and sarcastically stated that this man cheats even at the age of 40 and he kisses people. However, Akanksha told Varun to accept that he was not homophobic.
As soon as the video surfaced, netizens blasted Ram Kapoor's act. One user wrote, "So true, this man has this weird attitude and superiority complex.. he is the real badtameez I mean did y'all see the way he talks to the hosts of the show??? Absolutely disgusting, and this act was so uncomfortable even to watch. We should definitely call this out."
A second one revealed that Ram Kapoor once kissed Karan Singh Grover without his consent, "Ram Kapoor is very weird. In one of the dance shows, he kissed Karan Singh Grover too, same as this, when he was married to Shraddha." A third one penned, "This is harrasment fs. Even though I don't like Laila, he doesn't deserve this. And I have seen some snippets of his content... and the Arush gang treat Laila the same way, hence I think he doesn't even have an idea how wrong this is."
A fourth one penned, "Yup yup yup! This was so problematic and uncomfortable to watch. I was so surprised to see nobody even questioning it at all." Another user took Ram's side and stated, "This is not harrasment as long as Laila doesn't feel that way. If he is taking it as a joke, there's no point in us getting offended. Different people have different boundaries with different people. He can speak out on his own if he felt harrassed."
A user also claimed that Ram Kapoor also kissed Jay Bhanushali in his vanity van, "Looooong time back, he kissed another male co-actor in his vanity van. I guess it was Jay Bhanushali, I don't remember but I did read this. His wife Gautami was asked about it and she said "he's confident about who he is" Matlab???????? Jo theek laga usko zabardasti kiss kar dega?"
Earlier, in the same episode, Ram Kapoor left many surprised with his thoughts on infidelity in a marriage. He went on to claim that people do make mistakes and it is okay if you are in genuine love with your partner and child. He also justified it by saying marriage is a work in progress and you have to let go of many such things. However, Akanksha Chamola didn't agree with Ram's statement, and she quickly jumped in. Akanksha stated that it is never a mistake, as a person does it with complete awareness.
