Recently, a source close to the production of the upcoming Punjabi film shared a video on their X (formerly Twitter) handle, which showed singer-actor, Jai Randhawa. He was tied to a harness and was supposed to perform a stunt. However, some technical issue happened because of which Jai couldn't land at the right position, and he banged his head into a wall. The intensity with which he hit the wall prompted the crew to immediately stop the shoot and take him to the nearest hospital.
After the injury, Jai Randhawa was rushed to the nearby hospital. It is worth mentioning that neither the singer nor someone close to him has shared any update on his health. However, a report by Amar Ujala claims that the MRI of the Punjabi singer was done at the hospital. According to the MRI, it can be said that the singer has not suffered any serious injury, but he is asked to take care. Reportedly, the production team of the upcoming film is taking care of him in the hospital.
Apart from being a singer and actor, Jai Randhawa also has a strong social media presence, The singer enjoys over 2.5 million followers. Before the unexpected accident while shooting his film, Jai Randhawa had posted a charming photo of himself on his Instagram handle. His most-recent post is of January 9, 2026, where he had thanked his fans for all the birthday wishes. It is worth mentioning that one of his recent posts also includes a photo of veteran actor, Dharmendra. He had shared the photo as a tribute to the legend after his tragic death.
As soon as the clip of Jai Randhawa getting injured on the film sets went viral on social media, multiple users poured in wishes and blessings for him. While some wished for him to get well soon, others were in shock. One user commented, "Get well soon." Another user shared, "What happened to him????" A third wrote, "Jaldi jaldi theek ho java." Another user pointed out the importance of safety on film sets and penned, "I saw the video. It’s very shocking and this is why health and safety is so important on film sets. He’s lucky to be alive."

Jai Randhawa is a well-known Punjabi singer, actor and TV personality. He was born on January 8, 1991, in Punjab. Reportedly, he completed his schooling in Punjab and later pursued a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree to honor his parents' wishes.
