In a conversation with CBS News, Perez Hilton's neighbors reflected on their new neighbors. For the unversed, Hilton and his family had moved to the neighborhood around two months ago. They described the family as "quiet and nice", which left the incident that took place on August 4, 2026, even more heartbreaking and shocking.

The neighbors have now opened up to the news outlet about what happened, recalling that there were seven firetrucks and ambulances. They admitted that they knew something was happening. The neighbors were identified as Raiza and Armando Gonzalez. They further revealed that Perez Hilton was home alone while deputies worked for hours to disengage the situation.
