In a recent interaction, Neha Pendse spoke about facing harassment on the streets of Mumbai in broad daylight.

Neha is known for her frank conversations as she doesn’t believe in mincing her words. The actress recently spoke about an unpleasant episode of harassment she once faced in Mumbai.
In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Neha Pendse recalls an unpleasant episode of harassment that she faced in Mumbai. Recalling the same, Neha revealed that she had gone for joking in the early hours on a busy Mumbai Road when a man from the opposite direction stopped his car in front of her and asked for direction.
As Neha couldn’t hear what the man was saying as his voice wasn’t audible, she moved a little close to his car. To her horror, the man grabbed her and before she could realise what happened, he sped off his car. Neha couldn’t understand what exactly happened in the broad daylight.
Though things happened so quickly that Neha could hardly process it, she didn’t let it pass. Grabbing her car keys, Neha threw the key’s remote to the man’s car and it stopped suddenly. Recalling it as the most terrifying one second of her life, Neha said:
“Mere haath me mere gaadi ki chaabi thi, meri cruz gaadi thi aur uska itna bada sa block remote hota hai. Wo maine zor se de maara unki gaadi pe to wo peeche ke screen pe laga. Ab laga to unhone zor se maara break aur meri tab haalat kharaab hui. Agar isne gaadi reverse le li aur kuch kar diya to mai kya karne waali thi. Wo ek secnd ke liye ruka and aur jaise usne analysiskar liya ki uske peeche ki kaanch tooti nahi hai, he sped off. But that one second was the most terrifying one second of my life.”
It was in 2020, when Neha Pendse walked down the aisle with her fiancé, Shardul Singh Bayas as per Maharashtrian rituals. Once in an interview with ETimes, Neha Pendse revealed that she has no maternal instincts for a long time. But she has already froze her egg and her husband, Shardul too, supported her.
Neha Pendse is an actress and producer known for her work primarily in Marathi and Hindi films and television. She started her career as a child actress in Ekta Kapoor's horror show Captain House in 1995. She debuted in films in 1999 with an uncredited appearance in Daag: The Fire. She has appeared in many Marathi films including Dusari Goshta, Premasathi Coming Suun, Balkadu, Natsamrat and many more. Neha was loved for her role in the Hindi sitcom, May I Come In Madam?
