For the unversed, the couple previously welcomed their first baby, a daughter, through adoption in August 2025. A few days ago, Millie dropped a hint at her growing family in an Instagram post. Earlier, in June 2026, Millie expressed her wish to have her biological daughter.
A source told PEOPLE that the 22-year-old actress and her husband, Jake, have welcomed their second baby together through adoption. A few days back, Millie shared a hint about expanding her family by sharing a video. In the video, the Enola Holmes star could be seen holding her daughter while Jake walked alongside her with a baby carrier strapped to his chest. Nearly one year ago, Millie announced that she and her husband had welcomed their first daughter together. She wrote:
"This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3."
Earlier, in June 2026, Millie had a candid conversation with Kylie Kelce on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce. During the conversation, she opened up about motherhood and revealed her wish to have her biological daughter after adopting a daughter in August 2025. Millie shared that it was her childhood dream to adopt.
Recalling her childhood memories, Millie shared that when she was around 5 or 6 years old, she played with baby dolls, but unlike many children, she pretended that her dolls were adopted rather than pretending she was pregnant. She clarified that this doesn't mean she is against having biological children. However, adoption is love for Millie.
Millie and Jake first sparked dating speculation in 2021 after Jake shared a pout selfie with the Stranger Things star. He captioned the post as "BFF". A few weeks after their first car selfie, Millie and Jake were spotted holding hands while walking around New York City, which further fuelled the dating buzz. The couple made their relationship Insta-official on November 1, 2021. The picture was all things romantic as the duo was seen sharing a kiss while riding the London Eye.
Next year, in 2022, the two made their red carpet debut on March 13, 2022, at the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London. During a 2022 interview with WIRED, the Enola Holmes actress opened up about how she met Jake. She revealed that they met on Instagram. She added that they were friends for some time and eventually began dating. In the 2023 New Year, Millie addressed Jake as the partner of her life.
The madly in love couple ensured that they had each other's back in both happy and sad times. On Millie’s 19th birthday, Jake shared a sweet tribute. He described her as the girl of his dreams. On April 11, 2023, the duo got engaged. A few weeks later, Jake’s father, Jon, told Andy Cohen that all his kids, including Jake, had found their better halves with whom they want to grow old. He mentioned that Millie is wonderful and his son, Jake, is very, very happy.
In May 2024, Millie and Jake tied the knot secretly, as reported by PEOPLE. According to The Sun, the pair’s wedding ceremony was kept low-key with their closest family in attendance. The couple exchanged vows for the second time at Villa Cetinale in Italy.
