Paige Shiver revealed she had to drop the baby she had with Sherrone Moore due to her rare genetic disorder disease.
Paige Shiver was the ex-mistress of former, Michigan coach, Sherrone Moore. Recently, in an emotional interview, she revealed she was pregnant with Sherrone's child. Paige became emotional and opened up about the fact that she had to drop her baby as her doctors had recommended the same, seeing her health condition.
Paige Shiver had come in on the ABC News, Good Morning America segment, where she looked shaken while talking to journalist Linsey Davis. Her comments about dropping her baby added more layers to the ongoing controversy surrounding the University of Michigan football program and the downfall of Sherrone Moore. Paige recollected how the doctors had shown her the medical complications she could have due to her pregnancy. Paige Shiver mentioned that complications in her pregnancy came up because of the rare genetic disorder she has, linked to Pompe Disease. On the ABC News segment, she revealed how the doctors had told her that it would not at all be the right thing to keep her baby. In her words:
"Multiple doctors and experts told me that it wouldn't be right or healthy for me to keep the baby."
When journalist, Linsey Davis asked if Paige wanted to go ahead with the pregnancy, she took a pause and revealed 'Yeah'. Paige even revealed that Moore knew the full situation and had told her to do what was right for her body. The emotional weight of the decision taken has still left scars on her mind.
Paige revealed that back then she had not looked at things and really reflected on what had happened or what was happening. She referred to her relationship with Moore, which began in 2022. Back then, Paige was an intern with the Michigan program. As Moore's career grew, Paige's role became an executive assistant, and then he was called the head coach. Paige further noted that Shiver had the power to fire her in a second. It was a reality she had been reflecting on very recently in her life. She did what he used to tell her to do, as she thought it was love. However, now that she looks back, Paige realises it was not at all love.
For the unversed, Paige has a genetic disorder called Pompe Disease, which is progressive, weakens muscles and also causes heart and respiratory issues. Paige also described a freaking incident back in December 2025 that led to Moore's arrest and to his removal from his role at the University of Michigan. In her words:
"All of a sudden, I hear footsteps, and they're getting closer and louder, so I'm like, ‘Crap.' So I run to my door to try to lock it. He barges in, and he's standing this close to me, and he said, ‘You ruined my life, why would you do this to me?' And I started backing up, and he started following me. He's not supposed to be here. He's not listening to me. Oh my gosh, yes."
Paige further revealed that Sherrone is 6'4, that he came in with his hood up, looked down on Paige, and told her that she ruined his life. He cried and barged towards her. For the unversed, Sherrone was fired from the University Of Michigan as the university investigated and credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
