On October 27, 2026, Savannah Chrisley took to her Instagram to announce she's engaged and pregnant. However, she kept the identity of her fiancé under wraps and addressed him as 'J'. Now, TMZ has identified Chrisley’s fiancé as Jason Galanis. According to the outlet, Jason has a criminal past. He is a businessman who was convicted for his involvement in multiple securities fraud schemes worth millions of dollars.
TMZ reported that one of these schemes involved a Native American tribal entity. Jason was sentenced to nearly 16 years in federal prison. In March 2025, US President Donald Trump commuted Jason's prison sentence. Chrisley’s fiancé previously worked with Hunter Biden, the son of former US President Joe Biden, and Hunter's business associate Devon Archer on investment ventures.
On her Unlocked Podcast, Savannah shared that she and Jason met through political circles. At the time, the reality TV star was fighting to secure pardons for her parents, Tod and Julie Chrisley. Savannah mentioned that Jason reached out in June 2025 to congratulate her on successfully advocating for her parents. Soon their conversations turned romantic. They began dating the following month in July 2025.
While Savannah didn’t mention the exact age difference between her and Jason, she previously stated her father approved of the relationship, despite having some reservations about their significant age gap. Cut to October 27, 2026: Savannah took to her Instagram handle to share a long, heartfelt note as she announced her engagement and pregnancy. Alongside the note, she shared a wholesome video featuring her and Jason. In the video, Jason was seen cradling Chrisley’s baby bump.
In the note, Savannah admitted that she prayed and cried for this life. She shared that there were moments when she doubted her life. She mentioned that in the past few years, she went through a lot, including heartbreak. She wrote:
"Seasons of heartbreak, loss, and moments when I didn’t know if I would ever make it to the other side. I wondered if I would ever find my forever… if I would ever feel safe enough to truly breathe again."
The reality TV star said that God sent Jason at the time when she wondered if she would ever find her forever. She shared that when she met Jason, she was right in the middle of a heartbreak. Savannah added that Jason healed the parts of her that he never broke. She called Jason her protector and fiercest fighter. She wrote:
"My protector. My fiercest fighter. My most loyal person. My lover. My safe place."
Further, in the note, the reality TV star admitted that this was the first time in a long time that she felt safe. She shared that she found her forever in Jason. She called her unborn baby the 'sweetest blessing'. Savannah mentioned that after seeing Jason’s love and care for their unborn child, she fell in love with him in an entirely new way. She wrote:
"Constantly caring for me, talking about our baby, and reminding me how beautiful my growing bump is. I thank God every day that this baby gets to call you Daddy."
