Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleMahhi Vij is clearly struggling to deal with the backlash inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. In an upcoming episode, the actress will be left in tears after Love Gill’s mother confronts her over a controversial comment she made about her daughter. Mahhi is visibly upset with the incident and has accused the show's makers of showing her in a bad light.
The actress even threatens to quit the reality show, saying she doesn’t care about the money if it means participating at the expense of her reputation.
The drama unfolds during an emotionally charged family task in which contestants get an opportunity to receive messages and photographs from their loved ones. However, the task comes with a difficult choice: they must either sacrifice their lifeline or destroy another contestant's family message.
As part of the task, Love Gill receives an audio message from her mother. But instead of just exchanging sweet words of affection, Love's mother takes a dig at Mahhi's earlier comments about her daughter. She says, “I just want to tell Mahhi ji, you should think that you have a daughter too,” repeating Mahhi's remark in Punjabi.
The comment refers to an earlier explosive argument involving Love Gill, ScoutOP and his girlfriend, Kaashvi. During a conversation with Arishfa, Mahhi had questioned Love's self-respect, suggesting that she was still seeking Scout's attention despite his girlfriend having insulted her.
“I don't want to bring up this conversation because Scout is involved; I don't want him to be involved, nahi toh main do-minute main isko nanga karke bol deti that you don't have any self-respect. His girlfriend came and insulted you, and you are still dying to get his attention,” Mahhi said.
Love's mother's response leaves Mahhi disturbed. Although the actress denies making such a comment, the incident appears to affect her deeply.
Later, while speaking to Uditi Singh and Arishfa, Mahhi breaks down in tears and expresses her frustration with the show's makers. She feels that the episodes are highlighting only her comments while leaving out the context and remarks made by other contestants. She can be heard saying:
“I am just feeling that they are only showing my comments. If this is the scene, I will not continue on the show. I don't even want the money; they can go to hell."
The actress further questions why she is being singled out and worries about how her family will perceive her portrayal on television. She said, "I feel so heavy. Why are they targeting me for everything? I also have a family outside who are watching. Everyone talks here and makes comments; they say things more than I do. I am not here to spoil my name like this; I can't continue like this." Her remarks suggest that the growing controversy and the way she believes she is being portrayed have taken an emotional toll on her.
Mahhi's latest outburst comes after she received criticism during the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where host Salman Khan questioned her performance in the house and said she had not lived up to the expectations surrounding her participation. He even noted that Mahhi gossips about participants without confronting them.
The superstar also brought up her disagreement with Rohit Shetty, who had previously given her similar feedback. Salman pointed out that instead of accepting the criticism and working on her game, Mahhi had argued with him. The host reminded her that the makers had been trying to get her on the show for nearly 10 years and asked her to decide how she wanted to move forward.
With Love Gill's mother's message adding another layer to the controversy, Mahhi now appears increasingly unhappy with her experience in the house.
But will Mahhi actually leave the show, or will she change her mind? We have to wait and see.
