Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleChristian parenting influencer Karissa Collins recently shared her feelings about the anxiety around her 12th pregnancy. As a mother of 11 children, Karissa Collins revealed that she has found it difficult to feel excited about her pregnancy. Her anxiety is driven by her fear of another miscarriage. In fact, the influencer shared a heartfelt social media post to explain why she and her husband, Mandrae, waited to share the news about their pregnancy with their children.
Karissa Collins shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram on October 10, 2026, to reveal the moment she and her husband found out about their latest pregnancy. The video clip was recorded on July 13, 2026, and showed how the couple reacted to the news. Alongside, the influencer also shared a video where she expressed the anxiety following pregnancy loss. In her words:
"No one talks about the anxiety of finding out you're pregnant after a loss. The fear of being too excited is real."
Karissa explained that she and Mandrae initially decided to wait to see their baby before sharing the news with their children. They did not want to put their family through another disappointment if the pregnancy did not go as they hoped. However, Karissa's belly was growing and she had unexpected sickness. So, it became difficult to keep the news to themselves.
However, Karissa also expressed gratitude for the pregnancy. She revealed that she has been praying for her baby's well-being after finding out about her pregnancy. For those who don't know, Karissa is pregnant after a heartbreaking loss in 2025. Last year, she revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage after carrying what would have been her 12th child. Later, in July 2025, she explained in a TikTok video that she found out about the loss several weeks ago, but then she had not fully miscarried it.
The experience was difficult because she continued to carry the pregnancy tissue while coming to terms with the news. These revelations started more discussion on the internet about pregnancy loss and the emotional challenges linked to it. Karissa also shared that she had multiple pregnancy losses over the years. She mentioned that those experiences have changed how she and Mandrae announced their current pregnancy by waiting until they had more confirmation about their baby's development.
Karissa and Mandrae are parents to 11 children, and all of their names begin with the letter "An". They are named Anissa, Andrae, Annistan, Anjalie, Andersyn, Aynjel, Ansyr, Anchor, Anthem, Armor, and Arrow. The couple's family also became more popular by sharing videos about their daily lives, their children's homeschooling routines, and family activities. At the same time, their social media presence has gained criticism over their parenting choices and faith-based views on children.
Karissa has once shared that she does not make content simply to gain followers or provoke controversy. In a now-deleted TikTok video, Karissa and her children were seen hitting her belly. In turn, it had also sparked criticism on the internet.
Mandrae Collins tied the knot to Karissa in May 2007. They are committed to raising their large family through their Christian faith. Karissa mainly manages the family's internet platforms, creates content, and oversees homeschooling. Meanwhile, Mandae has also worked in automotive finance and dealership management. He also has a background in basketball.
Mandrae played college basketball for Tarleton State University in Texas from 2001 to 2005. Over the years, he has remained involved in sports through coaching and youth training. The couple also frequently appeared together in family videos, dance clips, and faith-based posts.
