While many viewers have pinned their bets on Mahhi Vij, she is not disappointing her viewers. Mahhi’s constant digs at contestants are just raising the bar of entertainment.
In the latest episode, Mahhi was seen speaking with rapper Yung Dsa, during which they discussed which contestants could possibly become couples. The conversation was joined by Kanika Mann. During the conversation, Mahhi jokingly told Kanika that there were several boys in the house who could potentially be a match for her if she were single.
Confirming her status as single, Kanika also took a jibe at Mahhi and said, “Agar main single hoon, toh aap bhi toh single hona, ab.” Kanika’s remark immediately caught attention, as Mahhi’s personal life has been a major topic of conversation due to her separation from her husband, Jay Bhanushali.
In the very first episode of Bigg Boss, Mahhi grabbed the limelight when she called the latest season 'divorcee special.' During the episode, Mahhi was seen trying to discuss Isha Rikhi and Mary Kom’s divorces, even as both of them refused to talk about the subject. She also made a remark that caught everyone’s attention, calling the show a “divorcee special”.
During a conversation, Mahhi was asked what kind of conversations she enjoys. She said she likes gossip and added:
“Tell me who has an affair with whom outside. Teen to divorcee aarakhi hai set pe, tu main aur voh boxer (Mary Kom). Second innings to humari chal rahi hai, divorcee special.”
Later in the episode, Mahhi was seen asking Mary about her divorce, but the boxer refused to discuss it. Mahhi then stated that it was not necessary to speak negatively about an ex, as there could be positives as well. However, Isha got furious with Mahi and hit back, asking why she was so eager to make them talk about the subject when they did not want to discuss it.
For the unversed, Mahhi Vij got married to Jay Bhanushali in 2011 after dating for some time. The couple adopted their caretaker's two children, Rajveer and Khushi, in 2017 and welcomed their biological daughter, Tara, in 2019. At the end of 2025, rumors of Jay and Mahhi’s divorce surfaced online. After much speculation, Mahhi and Jay officially announced their separation in January 2026, 14 years into their marriage. The former couple said that they had chosen to part ways while continuing to have each other’s backs.
During the premiere of Bigg Boss 20, Mahhi and Jay’s daughter, Tara, came to bid her farewell to the actress before she entered the house. After she entered the Salman Khan-hosted show as a contestant, Jay shared:
"The Don is in the house. All the best. Kill it, Tara ki mumma.”
