Joni Lamb passed away at the age of 65. Amid this, the controversy around her, her daughter-in-law and son again made it to the headlines. Here's when Suzy said she was sexually assaulted at Daystar.
Joni Lamb, the Daystar president, passed away at the age of 65. The reason for her passing has not been revealed; however, it was shared that her health worsened due to the back pain she had. Amid her passing, the old controversy around her and her son and daughter-in-law also made rounds on social media again. For the unversed, Joni's son, Jonathan and her daughter-in-law, Suzy, accused Joni and Marus Lamb of hiding a major allegation that they brought against a family member, 'Pete'.
As per Jonathan and Suzy, the family member, who is described as 'Pete' in the documents, sexually assaulted their then 5-year-old daughter 'Baby Lamb'. Amid all these allegations, Suzy Lamb also made an explosive claim, stating that she was once sexually assaulted at Daystar. Yes! In an interview with TRR (The Roys Report) in 2024, Suzy Lamb shared that she was sexually assaulted by an unlicensed chiropractor who was hired by Marcus and Joni. Suzy initially didn't reveal her own experience; however, eventually, she felt like she should also come forward and talk about her experience.
As per TRR, the unlicensed chiropractor lost his license due to sexually assaulting a minor. However, his identity was not revealed due to the fact that he was never charged with any crime. As per Suzy and Jonathan, Marcus and Joni hired him, thinking he was a changed man, and he was working in Daystar's green room. He worked with Suzy for several years, and everything was fine. Suzy then described that one time she, one of Joni's assistants and the unlicensed chiropractor were working in the green room. She said that the chiropractor seemed drunk, and he was visiting patients.
She mentioned that Joni Lamb's assistant went to the bathroom for five minutes, and during that time, the chiropractor sexually assaulted her. She was in pain and called Jonathan, who said his blood was boiling. He instantly informed his parents about the same, and they were away from the town back then. Suzy had to attend a show the next day, and although her body was aching and she vomited, she appeared there and did her job. She also mentioned being scared of the fact that the chiropractor knew where she used to live and often would joke about the fact that he would snap someone's neck one day.
However, a few days later, Joni and her husband, Marcus, returned, and Suzy said that MIL let her know that the chiropractor was paid off and he wasn't a problem anymore. Suzy revealed that Joni told her that they needed to protect Daystar, while she would protect her daughter-in-law, and thus, this incident shouldn't become public. Suzy said that she remained dutiful and did the same as she was asked to do. The chiropractor reportedly passed away in 2021.
The entire incident, however, became public knowledge with Jonathan's firing, as well as with the allegations that a family member, who has been described as 'Pete' in the documents, violently assaulted Jonathan and Suzy's daughter. They also alleged that Joni and Marcus tried to cover this incident up; however, they also went to the police. The case was closed as Baby Lamb didn't speak about the same. While later this case opened as well, it was closed due to a lack of evidence.
