Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleJelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are officially divorced. The pair parted ways after a decade of marriage, leaving fans wondering what could have led to the decision. While neither specifically clarified what led to the split, the singer's daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, is pushing back against online speculation surrounding the divorce. According to her, the truth has yet to come out.
During a TikTok Live on Sunday, July 19, Bailee expressed frustration over the messages and comments she has received since news of the divorce became public. She urged people to stop attacking her father and claimed the internet has drawn conclusions without knowing what really happened behind closed doors.
While Bailee had previously urged the internet to stop spreading narratives without knowing the whole story, her new comments come weeks after the country star and podcast host quietly finalized their divorce. She said:
"Don't y'all ever come for my father's name like that again. I'm so done... Get the f–k out of my DMs, out of my comments, my life with that s–t. I don’t care. I don’t want to talk about it."
The 18-year-old went on to reveal that the public's understanding of the breakup is far from accurate. "Y'all have no f---ing idea what happened, and wait 'till y'all find out. Just f---ing wait," she said before adding:
"Because I promise y'all, the view of what y'all have of not only the situation, but their relationship and the internet in totality is about to f---ing crumble the day that I open my mouth."
While social media has been flooded with theories about infidelity, Bailee defended both her father and Bunnie Xo, echoing the former couple's previous statements denying that cheating caused the breakup. Hinting that there has been much more to the story, she added, "It’s not a difference in f–-king opinions. Nobody else lived in it, so don’t f–-king even. I’m for real so done."
Days after Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's divorce filing was confirmed, Bunnie had broken her silence on social media. In a TikTok Story shared in June, the recent high school graduate said she was "disgusted" by how invested strangers had become in what she described as a private family matter.
Bailee urged people to focus on their own lives rather than speculate about hers, and made it clear that she is not ready to discuss the situation publicly. She wrote, "I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It’s fkn crazy... Go on somewhere y'all. Worry ‘bout your house — not mine. I’m not speaking on it — yet.”
Bunnie Xo is not Bailee Ann's biological mother, but that hasn't affected the bond they have developed over the years. Bailee, born in May 2008, is actually the daughter of Jelly Roll's ex-girlfriend, Felicia Beckwith. When she was born, the country star was serving jail time for drug-related charges and could only see her in person after two years.
In 2017, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo were granted primary custody of Bailee due to struggles faced by her biological mother. Since then, Bunnie and Bailee have developed a bond that doesn't need any DNA match. Bailee herself has previously credited both Jelly Roll and Bunnie for helping her navigate a difficult childhood and supporting her as she grew up.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo remain committed to growing their family despite the divorce. Although they have now divorced, the pair previously revealed that they intend to continue their IVF journey together in hopes of welcoming a child. Jelly Roll is already father to Bailee Ann, whom he shares with ex Felicia Beckwith, and son Noah Buddy from a previous relationship with Melisa Ann Cowell.
Neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo has publicly responded to Bailee's latest comments. What's your take on it?
