Netizens' reaction to IShowSpeed's fainting video

Suggesting to take rest, a fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Speed has been killing this streaming shit, but get some rest, it is still important." Another user commented, "Always wondered how bro's so energetic, he needs rest!" A third user penned, "He needs a better team. No offence, but he is being pushed too hard." A fourth user wrote, "He's doing too much, people go to the islands to relax and chill, not rush from island to island in a chaotic fashion!! Makes no sense, the production team did not balance out this schedule properly!! There's no relaxation & chill in these streams, just repeating the same chaotic plans."

"When I first started my stream, I only had one viewer, two viewers, and that kept me going. In week two, I started averaging four viewers. In week three, I started averaging 17 viewers. As more people watched, I thought I could get somewhere with this, and I had fun. So that's what kept me going."

In the same interview, IShowSpeed explained why livestreamers share a close connection with their fans. He shared that the constant interaction with fans made livestreaming so popular. Unlike actors or singers, livestreamers are always available online. He was quoted as saying:

"As a livestreamer, we have such a close connection with our supporters and fans. We’re always talking to them, giving them updates on our lives every single day. That’s what makes livestreaming the thing now. For an artist, the only time they’re talking to their fans is at a concert. An actor? Maybe at a convention, if even that. But with livestreaming, we’re always there. It’s just the thing now. It’s 2024, that’s what everybody’s doing right now."
