'Dhurandhar 3' is not at all on the cards? 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' showcases the story and life of Ranveer Singh a.k.a 'Hamza'.
Aditya Dhar directed Dhruandhar: The Revenge, which was released worldwide on March 19, 2026 has received a blockbuster response. The stellar cast in Dhurandhar 2 includes Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera, Manav Gohil, Raj Zutshi and Danish Iqbal, to name a few. Director, Aditya Dhar has already showered love on fans for showing love to Dhurandhar 2. However, is Dhurandhar Part 3 not happening?
Director, Aditya Dhar has already requested netizens not to share any spoilers of the movie. He has also asked fans not to leave the theatres without watching the post-credits scenes. Well, according to the climax of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, there does not seem to be any part three of the movie. This is because the second post-credit scene revealed that 'General Shahnawaz' a.k.a Raj Zuthsi, the Pakistani general, was tricked by 'Ajit Sanyal' to let 'Hamza' go. 'General Shahnawaz' is defeated in front of his own men, and then, when another post-credits scene is shown, it offers no hint of Dhurandhar Part 3. There was earlier a constant buzz doing the rounds that Dhurandhar 3 would be on the cards, but at the moment, there is no certainty on the matter.
Dhurandhar 3director, Aditya Dhar, a while back had taken to his social media handle to write to his dearest, most extraordinary Dhurandhar family. In his note, he mentioned that on December 5, 2025, Dhurandhar released in cinemas worldwide. And since then, fans have not just watched the movie; they have loved it and lived with it. Aditya Dhar loved how fans adored every little detail, debated every moment, rewatched it, and noticed things he had thought no one would ever see.
The director of Dhurandhar 3, Aditya Dhar, further shared that somewhere in that beautiful, unpredictable journey, their movie became the film of the fans. The nation loved it, and that is the most humbling and moving gift a filmmaker can get. Aditya Dhar made a major request to the fans not to share spoilers and wrote:
"Hence, here is my one, heartfelt, earnest request...please don't share spoilers. Let every single fan walk in clueless but curious and walk out with their own deeply personal version of what they felt. We've put our hearts into Dhurandhar: The Revenge so you can experience every twist, every emotion, exactly the way it's meant to be felt. In a theatre, in the dark, surrounded by friends, family, and even strangers, everyone feeling the same emotions."
Dhurandhar 2 fans are requesting everyone to watch the post-credit scenes, which do not hint at Dhurandhar 3. It is interesting to also note that none of the post-credit scenes has hinted at Aditya Dhar planning to make Dhurandhar 3 anytime soon. Well, according to a report by the Times Now Digital, a netizen, after seeing Dhurandhar 2 right now, said:
"A Masterclass in positive coercion and politics. Dhurandhar 2 delivers a powerful continuation, brilliantly filling the emotional and operational gap left by Rahman. Hamza steps up as the new protagonist, eventually executing a chilling assassination of the RAW’s handler. Starts a bit slow, more violence and a little more politics."
Aditya Dhar, earlier in an interview with Money Control, had revealed that Ranveer Singh had delivered a lifetime performance achievement with Dhurandhar 2. Netizens have also agreed that Ranveer Singh takes the limelight in the movie. His pain, ego, grief and anger can be felt in every scene.
