Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleEarlier this month in July 2026, an alligator attack left the world horrified! It all happened when a 31-year-old hiker was swimming with her boyfriend and friend in the Florida water. Within seconds, an alligator attacked her arm, and she died due to excessive blood loss. Amidst the horror, two influencers were seen filming and petting an alligator in Florida.
Two influencers have gone viral after they were seen filming themselves petting alligators in Florida. This left many shocked, as just days ago Brittany Clark was brutally killed by a 13-foot alligator. The person seen in the video was TikTokker Kileigh Rose, who captioned the video by asking people to come and pet alligators. She wrote"
"Come with us to pet alligators."
In one video, the woman was paddling in Silver Springs State Park in a beautiful, clear canoe, and she put her hand in the water. She was seen rubbing her hand on the top of an alligator's back as they were simply minding their business. However, the footage was deleted after racking up 2.1 million views and a huge outrage. The kayaker was smiling as she said:
"Did you get that? I just pet the s–t out of him."
Another video showed an alligator thrashing and circling around her small clear canoe. The TikTokker's friend should have seen the close splash of the alligator, as the one patting screaming in terror.
As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, netizens expressed their concern and how careless the TikTokkers were. One user wrote, "At this point, people coming to Orlando or Florida should be required to go to an orientation class." Another one commented, "I wouldn't punish the alligator. Just because she doesn't care about her life does not mean we should take it."
A third user penned, "Repercussions need to happen. This is 100% harassment of the gator; the gator is swimming away, even hissing as a warning, but she continues to follow it." Another one penned, "'Not gonna hurt you,' one of these ripped a girl's arms off like a week ago."
A fifth one commented, "I went to Silver Springs about 7 years ago, and while I was kayaking there was a gator heading straight for me, calmly. I moved myself to “other lane” and let myself coast (no paddling), and they passed right on by and went about their business. Go figure! I left her alone and respected the space, and she did the same! I would be pissed if someone came into my home and just started trying to touch me!"
The Florida Wildlife Commission is now investigating the video and will impose a possible punishment of a USD 500 fine or even 60 days in jail for petting alligators, which is being considered harassment. The clip has been going viral days after Brittany Clark, a 31-year-old hiker, had a shocking alligator attack in Florida waters.
She was swimming in the Econlockhatchee River at Little Big Econ State Forest with her boyfriend and friend on June 28, 2026. She was brave enough to get out of the alligator's grip, but the excessive blood loss and one arm nearly getting off, killed Brittany upon reaching the hospital. It was around 90 miles from where these TikTokkers filmed the concerning video.
