Be it beautifying the ambience and the décor, or showering the newlyweds with petals, flowers play an important role in any wedding. Initially what used to be simple garlands or rangolis made of assorted petals, have now progressed to intricately woven garlands with a variety of flowers, thoughtfully arranged bouquets, and a careful selection of flowers based on their colour, fragrance and even appearance!

Adding fresh flowers to wedding decor is an idea that never goes out of fashion. You can use them to decorate the stage, mandap, tables, chairs, etc. Keep reading to find some unique ways to add flowers to your wedding decor.

#1. Wedding mandap

Decorate the wedding mandap with flowers. You can use any colour flowers to stick them on the roof of the mandap. Do not decorate the entire mandap with flowers, since it will look crowded.

Do you want to make your venue entrance look grand? Then, you can try placing a curtain made of white or marigold flowers near the wooden entrance door.

#3. Stage and aisle

If you are to take your wedding vows as per Christian traditions, then you can decorate the centre of the stage with flowers. Make sure you leave some place for the guests to enter the seats while decorating the sides with fresh flowers. You can even decorate the aisle with similar flowers.
