On March 15, 2026, Bruno Salomone's agent named Laurent Gregoire publicly announced the death of the actor and comedian, on the behalf of his family. While the exact reason of the death was not revealed, the agent shared that Bruno passed away after battling a long illness. It is worth mentioning that the announcement did not reveal any further details about the funeral as the family is seeking privacy during the tough time.

Who was Bruno Salomone?

For those who do not know, Bruno Salomone was a popular French actor. He had entertained the audience for a long time with his charming on-screen presence. A recent report by Filmogaz reveals that the actor was born in France in 1970, and spent major time in Marseille, before moving to Paris. Slowly and gradually, he discovered his passion for acting and comedy. However, he rose to fame in 1996, when he reportedly won a TV contest. This opened multiple doors for him.

After his win, he collaborated with multiple comedians from that era, including actor, Jean Durjardin. In 2001, he made his way to television with the sitcom, Camera Cafe. If reports are to be believed, the sitcom was set around an office coffee machine. This made Bruno a star because of his sense of humour. Later, he appeared in Fais pas ci, fais pas ca, which is considered to be his most iconic role till date.

The show, which followed two families with entirely different parenting styles soon became a household series. After running for nine seasons, it ended in 2017. It is worth mentioning that Fais pas ci, fais pas ca is one of the most loved shows in France. According to a report by IMDb, the show returned with a special film in December 2024, with the same cast.

After earning fame and recognition with television shows, the French actor, Bruno Salomone tried his luck in films. One of his most-loved film roles is of 'Brice de Nice' in Igor d’Hossegor. This is considered a cult classic film. Reportedly, he also appeared in the comedy film, La Beuze.
