Miss Universe Pakistan, Erica Robin became the first person to represent her nation on the red carpet of the prestigious film festival, Cannes 2024 and looked simply stunning.
Pakistan beauties are indeed spreading the aura of their enchanting beauty amongst the masses. In the recent few years, they are also putting their best foot forward to represent their nation on global platforms, yet keeping in mind the diversities and limitations of their culture. In 2023, a Pakistani-origin model, Erica Robin, made headlines after she participated in the Miss Universe pageant. Although, she couldn't win the beauty pageant title, her representation of her country on the global platform was incredible.
Now, at the Cannes 2024, yet again, Erica Robin became the first person to represent her nation, Pakistan, and looked simply stunning. The 24-year-old Miss Universe Pakistan attended the Film Festival for the premier of the movie, The Substance, starring the legendary Demi Moore. Moreover, she walked the red carpet in a golden ensemble from the shelves of ace Pakistani designer, Nomi Ansari. Her outfit featured a halter neck upper attached to a flowy skirt with a thigh-high slit. She also carried a piece of the same fabric to complement her look.

Erica teamed her look with matching stud earrings and golden stilettos. Smokey eyes, thin eyeliner strokes, nude lipstick, defined brows, blushed and highlighted cheeks with a neatly combed bun hairdo completed her look. Taking to her Instagram handle, Erica shared an array of pictures from her first appearance at the Cannes 2024. Sharing them, she expressed her excitement and gratitude to her followers, and wrote:
“Feeling incredibly honoured and humbled to represent Pakistan on a global stage at the Cannes Film Festival 2024 as the youngest woman and beauty queen to walk on their prestigious red carpet. I’m grateful for each step on this journey - from my home to Cannes. Thank you for the opportunity and the love. I am so blessed to be a guest at the premiere of The Substance starring the iconic Demi Moore and especially during my reign as Miss Universe Pakistan.”
Erica Robin was born in Karachi, Sindh on November 8, 1998. The gorgeous diva hails from a Christian family. Erica is a Pakistani model and keeps working on one after the other modelling projects. Moreover, the diva also enjoys a huge fanbase on her social media handles.
Erica Robin is the first Pakistani model representing the nation at Miss Universe 2023. She was placed among the top 20 semifinalists and was crowned the first Miss Universe Pakistan 2023. The beauty pageant titleholder left an indelible mark on the competition with her enchanting charisma and glamorous ensembles. From donning a covered-up swimsuit (a ruffled baby pink burkini, i.e., burkha + bikini) in accordance with the cultural traditions of Pakistan to represent her nation at the beauty pageant event, Erica indeed set some pure goals.

Hosted by El Salvador, the 72nd edition of the annual pageant, Miss Universe 2023, Erica secured the top position among 20 contestants out of over 80 participating countries. However, she did not advance to the top 10. But still, the moment was quite empowering for her as this was the first time when Pakistan was represented on the Miss Universe stage. Talking about the same, in an interview with Voice of America, Erica expressed:
“For the first time ever, Pakistan will have a participant in the Miss Universe contest. I'm under a lot of pressure and have a lot of responsibility. However, I won't do anything that would harm the reputation of the country.”
