Bollywood couple, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's wedding is still considered an affair beyond fairytales. The duo had tied the knot when there were no hashtags and we knew nothing about couple goals. Yet, their grand wedding had left a huge impact on all of us. We still remember sitting in front of television sets, in the hope of getting one glimpse of the bride and the groom.

On April 20, 2007, Aishwarya and Abhishek exchanged the wedding vows and left the entire nation starry-eyed. Every time, we see them together our heart rushes a beat and we crave for love like 'Abhi-Aish'.
A few years ago, the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla made us nostalgic when they posted a series of unseen pictures from Aishwarya and Abhishek's grand wedding. In one of the pictures, we can see Aishwarya looking prettiest in a sky blue lehenga and Abhishek complementing her in the designers' gorgeous creations. Take a look at the unseen pictures below:

They had captioned the pictures as, "2007: A wedding beyond a fairy-tale! Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and the Bachchans go a long way. Jaya Bachchan embraced their work ever since the opening of their first boutique, Mata Hari. She has always been an avid supporter of their creative visions and ‘The Boys’ as she affectionately calls them, have known Abhishek and Shweta since they were kids.So designing for Abhishek’s wedding with Aishwarya was a highly emotional and creatively satisfying experience for the duo. In the picture above, they dressed the groom in a blue silver brocade short Sherwani adorned with gota resham, stones and pearls. For Aishwarya, they created an embroidered pastel resham ghagra set that shone with sequins and stones and a dupatta that was just as rich in details. The wedding was an epitome of glamour and grace and the memory of it remains fresh in our hearts."

In a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Abhishek had revealed the details of his love story, and had shared, “I’ve never asked who fell in love first, actually. I’ll have to ask her that. But the moment we got together we knew this was it.”
In an interview with Famously Filmfare, Aishwarya had shared snippets on her marital life with Abhishek. She had stated, “It feels like yesterday and what’s funny is that everyone else thinks so too. It’s going to be 12 years in April and it’s flown by, which is a great sign. I am clueless about the time that’s flown by.”

She had also talked about the time when Abhishek had first proposed to her, and had revealed, “I remember. During the shoot of Jodha Akbar's song 'Khwaja Mere Khwaja', sitting as a bride, and I am like, omg this is surreal, all happening on-screen, off-screen, this is bizarre and Ashutosh is like you are engaged and I am like what.”
