Bollywood actress, Zareen Khan made her debut with the Salman Khan starrer, Veer. She is known for her exceptional weight loss journey and acting skills. Despite being known as Katrina Kaif’s doppelganger, Zareen tried hard to make a name for herself. During an interaction with her fans, Zareen revealed her working experience with her Bollywood actor, Salman Khan. She also mentioned how her image as Katrina's clone backfired on her.
Recently, Zareen Khan interacted with her fans on Reddit and was asked about being dubbed as Katrina’s look-alike. To this, Zareen mentioned that although she was happy at the beginning of her career for being Katrina Kaif's doppelganger, it backfired on her acting career. Zareen revealed that she always faced a comparison with the already established actress, Katrina Kaif. Zareen said:
"When I entered this industry, I was literally like a lost child since I don’t come from a filmy background so it made me feel really happy being compared to Katrina as I was her fan too and found her really pretty. But it backfired on my career as the people of this industry didn’t give me a chance to prove my individuality.”

In the same interaction, Zareen opened up about how 'people work on the basis of friendship rather than talent' in the film industry. Revealing that she hates this culture completely, she mentioned coming from a non-filmy background. She also revealed having no such connections in the industry. Neither she loves to get involved in small talk. And this became the reason she couldn't appear in more films. On the work front, she was last seen in the film, Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele in 2021.
Afterwards, Zareen was asked about her honest review of working with her debut film co-star, Salman Khan. To this, Zareen gave a quick answer and revealed that working with Salman Khan is 'intimidating'.

Earlier, in one interview with a leading daily, Zaareen revealed sharing a friendly bond with the superstar, Salman Khan. For Zareen, he emerged as no less than a godfather during the most challenging phase of her life. Speaking about her relationship with Salman, she had said:
"Salman is somebody who will always be very dear, special and very close to my heart because if not for him, I had never thought of becoming a part of this industry. I would have never been a part of this industry because this was not my plan and now I am here. The debut I got was a dream debut for me."
