Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh are one of the most adorable couples in the industry. They got married on October 24, 2020, after being in a relationship for some time before marriage. Their grand wedding took place in Delhi. Since then, they never miss a chance to paint the town red with their mushy glimpses. However, once, Neha revealed how initially, Rohanpreet refused to marry her for some reason. And after a hilarious incident, Rohanpreet proposed to Neha, and they started their happily ever after.
In one of the old episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show, Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh appeared together for their first-ever interview and opened up about certain anecdotes about their love story. During their conversation, Neha revealed she met Rohanpreet for the first time in Chandigarh in August 2020. This was when Rohanpreet was called for a music video, Nehu Da Vyah, of which the song was written and composed by Neha. He revealed being super excited when he heard about meeting Neha. And after the shoot, Rohanpreet also asked her for her snapchat ID.

Gradually as the duo's friendship grew, Neha asked Rohanpreet about getting married. According to Neha, she didn't want to get into a relationship since she was successful and had everything by that time. But Rohanpreet told her he was just 25 and didn't want to get married at such an early age. After this, Neha and Rohanpreet stopped talking to each other, until destiny wanted them to meet one more time.
Then, one day, Rohanpreet drunk-dialled Neha and expressed his love for her. Listening to this, Neha said to him, "I can't live without you, let's get married." However, it was just a joke for Neha, and she thought Rohanpreet would forget the incident as he was drunk. Rohanpreet also mentioned that he wanted to marry her. However, Neha did not take his words seriously. In Neha's words:
"Inhone 2-3 beer chadhayi hui thi. Maine socha, beer chadhayi hui hai, chhodo, subah bhool jayenge."

However, the next day, when Rohanpreet realised what he told Neha the previous night, he went to Chandigarh, where she had gone for another shoot. Rohanpreet also followed her into her hotel room. Afterwards, Neha revealed on the show, "Yeh kehte hai, ‘Nehu, kal ki baat yaad hai na?’ Maine kaha, ‘Pee thi aapne, mujhe kyun nahi yaad rahegi?’." So, by this time, Neha had already understood Rohanpreet's love for her, and the rest is history. In the same conversation, Neha also shared how her mother is a big fan of Rohanpreet's smile, and their parents had no objection to their marriage.
