Moreover, the couple decided to surprise the paps with a sweet gesture as a token of appreciation. In a video shared by paparazzo, Viral Bhayani, we can see Anushka and Virat's hamper featuring handpicked goodies that would be of practical importance to the paparazzi. Virushka also shared a note, which could be read as:
“We sincerely thank you for respecting the privacy of our children and for your unwavering cooperation.”

In the video, we can see that the goodie basket included many gadgets like a power bank, a small side bag, a smartwatch and a water bottle, among other things. It was indeed a thoughtful gift presented by Anushka and Virat on the arrival of their second child. Sharing the video, the paparazzo wrote:
“Today, we received a thoughtful gift delivery at our residence. The esteemed power couple, Virat and Anushka, kindly sent the gift to express their appreciation for our happiness and the arrival of our second child.”

On December 19, 2021, Anushka took to her Instagram stories and thanked the paps and the media houses for maintaining their privacy and not publishing Vamika's pictures or videos. An excerpt from her gratitude note could be read as:
“We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward.”
